Pupusas were so good and reasonably priced. I only needed 2 and didn't even finish them. The plantain empanadas for dessert were also super good!

Crisp, comforting pupusas with a spirited menu twist, and a friendly nod to Salvadoran street food roots

WOW! What a surprise. The papusas were AMAZING, the sauce was surprising and excellent and the slaw is to die for!! Our waitress was SO kind and helpful with explaining everything. I will definitely go back, and you should too!

The place was dead. I should’ve taken that as a warning. Clean, but the seats are in shreds. We placed our order and waited. The food came. Those were the only interactions we had with anyone. The food was unseasoned and overcooked. Everything was tough as leather and bland. I’m not one to leave wasted food, but there was no way I was taking leftovers home. We tried everything on the plates, but nothing was good. When I went to pay, I realized the waitress had been on her phone and think our food may have been left to cook because nobody was paying attention.

Microwave food. More of a pool hall than family dinning.

The place was okay, but there is a dip coming in off the road, and then there's a massive pothole inside the dip. I scraped the front end of my car badly pulling in.

The food here is AMAZING! The pupusas done up with the tomato and slaw. I could eat it everyday.
The sample player is my favorite. You get all the yums and leave oh so satisfied. Similar flavors to Mexican that I am born and raised cooking. But different. The tamales are so soft and so good but so different from what we make. Same with the green chili. Not sure at all what it’s made of, don’t think Anaheims, but so delightful.
The only reason it gets 4 stars is because they staff doesn’t speak English and the bar type atmosphere is not family friendly. But we go often despite these things because my Spanglish gets by and it’s worth it for the food.

We ordered in and were seriously impressed!
It had been years since I’d had pupusas, and it was my husband’s first time trying them… he’s usually pretty picky, but he was obsessed. The carne asada was absolutely insane. Everything was lligjt, flavorful, and so satisfying. Plus, the prices are incredibly reasonable for how good the food is. 100% will be ordering again!

Recently had the pleasure of dining at Pupusa Fire Family Restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. We tried both the fried fish meal and the chicken meal, and both dishes were incredibly flavorful. The fried fish was perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside, yet tender and juicy on the inside. The chicken meal was just as impressive, with a great balance of spices that left a lasting impression.
The real standout for me, though, were the pupusas. They were incredibly soft and had just the right amount of fluffiness, making each bite a comforting treat. The combination of the flavorful meals and the soft pupusas made for an enjoyable and satisfying meal. I highly recommend Pupusa Fire Family Restaurant to anyone craving authentic, delicious Salvadoran food!
