Very cute pupusa shop with a wide variety of flavors. The curtido was very fresh and the pupusas nicely grilled. Great flavor on salsa roja also.

This was my first time visiting Pupusas Lovers, and I came based on the great reviews and vegan options. The food looked amazing, and I was genuinely excited to try it after a 3-hour flight. I arrived right around 9 a.m. when they opened.

There were two gentlemen already seated, and a woman was working in the back. When she finally came to the front, she walked right past me and took their order without so much as a greeting. Once she was done, she returned to the front, looked at me, but still said nothing. I greeted her and mentioned I’d be dining in—but it was clear there was a language barrier. That’s okay—I had Google Translate ready and speak a little Spanish, so I was willing to work with that.

Unfortunately, the issue wasn’t just about language. I waited 30 minutes as she prepared their food without acknowledging me again. Then another customer walked in, greeted in Spanish, and was served *immediately*—before me. At that point, it became obvious: I wasn’t welcome here. I hadn’t received water or any attempt at service.

Feeling completely ignored and disrespected, I left. I brought my business to another restaurant that was far more welcoming. Looking back at other negative reviews, I noticed similar concerns about customer service and I now understand why.

I don’t take lightly what feels like discrimination, and while I could offer recommendations, it feels pointless when basic hospitality isn’t even extended. When you know, you know.

I stopped by here by chance and was blown away by the prices of the pupusas!!!! I moved out here from the richest county in the country and can’t believe I paid $22.52 for THREE pupusas! 🤯 I won’t be back & my Salvadoran husband was not happy & shocked that I paid that much😑 I called & ordered by phone & didn’t ask the price as they’re usually around $4-5/ea. I learned my lesson though 🤷🏼‍♀️ Food took a while too. They did taste good so if you have that kinda money to spend, enjoy it!

The team was very accommodating, engaging, and efficient! The dining area and bathroom were very clean. I absolutely love the vibe in here. The jalapeño w/ cheese and the spinach w/ cheese pupusas were SO fresh and delicious! Rice and beans were cooked perfectly! I will be visiting frequently. Highly recommend!!!! Made with love!

One of my favorite places in Denver, no exaggeration. Authentic El Salvadoran !

Here’s your “can’t miss” order:
1. Revuelta
2. Spinach & Queso
3. Carne Asada
4. Al Pastor

^ These 4 pupusas are awesome and a hit. Green salsa has a kick if you can’t handle spice well but the flavor is worth the burn. Try the Slaw + sauce on the side for the heck of it.

The Quesadilla (cheese bread) is good, and they serve some of the best fried Plantains I’ve ever had.

I’ve taken my family, 3 different friend groups, and then convinced my company to cater the “Pupizza” (a pupusa the size of a pizza) and ALL have loved it.

It’s not a fast food restaurant and you can literally hear them making it fresh, so please, be patient and just enjoy the atmosphere.

Cheers !

One of my favorite places of all time in Denver. My family has been coming here since pre-COVID, at least 7-8 years. Food is always AMAZING, great service and a reasonable price. Tons of vegetarian options, always so accommodating and kind to us.

Terrible service, went with a friend on Saturday morning, after a few minutes waiting we were given the menus and that was it, they never offered something to drink neither took our order, the person attending the tables basically just ignored us all the times she passed by our table, the place was not busy at all, just one couple beside us. It was a totally uncomfortable situation, after waiting for approximately 30 minutes we decided to go somewhere else.

I was driving by and decided to stop in for lunch. The food was all delicious everything was fresh and hot. I went with the pupusas revuelta rice beans on the side and a large agua fresca ensalada to drink. A must try is the chicken enchiladas so good add the green sauce for spice or red for mild flavor. I love food from El Salvador must say one of the better ones I have had since moving to Colorado. Check this place out.

This place is amazing. The pupusas were amazing. I'd never had one before my first visit, and now I crave them. This place is a great, no-frills location where the menu is simple and the food is delicious.
