We have dined here before so knew how good the food was and could be. We ordered 3 courses for our table of 4 and I tried to ask if we could have the courses spaced as we didn't want to be rushed, we were told by the waitress that we should have plenty of time for that due to other reservations and she would handle it...... Unfortunately the main course was ready and we were not, so the food sat under a heat lamp in which the main courses were dried out. We aren't complainers so didn't say anything, kindly paid our bill and left. It's disappointing at prices like these we have to be under the turn the table rules.
Excellent food and terrific staff. A bit of a small space but they make it work. Some of my favorite pasta in Denver!
Food and service are excellent. Noise level is far too loud with no sound absorbing materials. Suggest you wear ear plugs.
Great atmosphere, food was amazing. Reservation ran late by half an hour but the wait was worth it
Delicious food and great service! Was celebrating a graduation, and they left me a card and gave me a free dessert.Portions were large, so I had some great leftovers for dinner the night after. Only reason for 4 stars is that it was very loud so I had a hard time hearing the people across the table from me.
We walked in and instantly they asked if we had a reservation. We said we didn’t and they didn’t mind, we had asked just to sit down for some drinks. They suggested we sit at the bar, however there wasn’t enough seats to accommodate our party of 6. We ended up sitting down on some chairs and tables with menus on them. We were ignored the entire 40 minutes we waited to order our drinks. Rude service / Ignoring customers.
We sat at a table by the hostess and the bar and it was extremely loud and difficult to converse with our friends. Other than that, the food was very good and creative and the special - Cacio e Pepe with black truffles and pappardelle was terrific though a bit pricey in the mid forties. The Sommelier helped with our wine choice, expect the markup to be 3x. The wine was a very good choice for us. One of the veggies, the Brussels sprouts was not cooked and the broccoli rabe was awful. They did take it off the bill. The crème brule was excellent. I would return and ask for a different table.
I would give 10 stars if I could! Each visit is better than the last and I recommend QI to everyone I know. The food is impeccable and the experience is equally impressive. I'm so grateful that Sam convinced us to come here many years ago. My only wish is to keep the corn gnudi year-round.
This is a lovely Italian restaurant attached to the Halcyon Hotel. But don't take it as your usual hotel restaurant. I went here for a graduation celebration and they made sure that we felt like we were celebrating. No request was too small and service was attentive. Check out the pesto pasta, corn brule, Caesar salad, and delicious mocktails. Wow! Prices are a little high, but food quality is consistent with it.
Nice place to celebrate or enjoy a night out. The pasta is top notch and service is always on point. I enjoy the veal and the truffle cacio pepe

Quality Italian in Denver earns a solid three stars from me. The food is genuinely good—well-prepared with fresh ingredients and flavors that hit the mark for a satisfying Italian meal. I’ve visited a couple of times, and the dishes, from pasta to entrees, have consistently delivered on taste and quality. The ambiance is another highlight; it’s lively yet cozy, making it a perfect spot for a weekend night out with friends or a date.
However, the experience is consistently marred by seating delays. Every time I’ve gone, despite having a reservation, we’ve had to wait at least 20 to 30 minutes past our scheduled time to be seated. It feels like they’re perpetually overbooked or struggling with table management, which is frustrating when you’re looking forward to a smooth evening. The service, once seated, is decent, but the initial wait casts a shadow over the experience. If they could tighten up their reservation system, Quality Italian would easily climb higher in my book. For now, it’s a good spot, but come prepared to wait.
Food and service were great! It gets extremely loud especially on weekends.
Our entire experience was incredible. The food, the atmosphere, and our waiter Randy was superb! Will absolutely be back
Always a great experience at Quality Italian. Service is excellent and the food is fun and well prepared. Best for a gathering of friends and family.
Our group of 8 had an exceptional evening dining here at Quality Italian. Our table was ready when we arrived and our server was extremely attentive all night long. We enjoyed a variety of entrees which were described to us in detail. I honestly cannot think of a single thing that I would have changed!
