Gluten free!! Celiac friendly! 100% Gluten Free (minus a few drink options) so very safe for us Celiacs. Plus, their arepas are superb! I go out of my way to eat here. They have another location downtown.

(If you’ve never had arepas, (ah-ray-pah-s) they’re a South American food (originally Venezuela) consisting of a flat corn bread bun (PAN flour) and stuffed with meat, cheese, beans, etc.)
(Think GF sandwich! But the bread’s good! Easy for sitting down or on the go, which for us celiacs is a big deal!))

The atmosphere is casual and quiet, on the cute little neighborhood street of South Pearl near a few other restaurants and beautiful old houses.

Although there is parking it isn’t always readily available, so instead, I like to park a couple blocks to the southwest/west (where there’s plenty) and walk. I think it adds to the ambiance and removes any potential of stress from parking. (honestly, takes the same amount of time) Plus, the neighborhood is beautiful, so it’s a nice walk!

Dietary restrictions: All gluten free except some drinks so very Celiac friendly.

Parking: Parking to the east and along the street. A lot more available if you park a block or two to the southwest or west.

Genuinely my favorite restaurant in Denver. It is dedicated gluten-free, so safe for people with Celiac, but every gluten-eater I have ever brought was delighted. The pabellon is the gem of the menu and you must try the house hot sauce! Grab a fresh young coconut to sip while you’re at it.

Dietary restrictions: Besides being gluten free, there are also vegan options

This place is usually great but today was disappointing - i had to remove 50% of the inside ingredients to pick the arepa up, then the bread was so soggy it fell apart, the inside ingredients were cold and cheese wasn't melted.
