The food is extremely average. We ordered the pabellón and pollo arepas with a side order of plantains. The plantains were pretty dry and did not have the traditional plantain taste and texture. The arepas were mediocre and the masa was dry. We paid $46 for the three items and found it’s definitely not worth the price.

I've been to many venezuelas restaurants and trucks, this place was really disappointing. The food was bland, not tasteful. Never offered me guasacaca and service was really bad not welcoming at all. Wouldn't come back

I needed to find a place to eat that serves gluten-free food, ans Quiero Arepas was just the place! I ordered the Pollo Guisado with a side of fried plantains. Both were delicious!

I ordered the Reina Pepiada arepa and added the plantains. It came out super fresh and tasty. The extra hit sauce was not very spicy at all. Not a bad thing, but don’t expect heat. Would definitely come back to try the other options!

South Pearl location is WAY better.

Plantains were cold, cheese was cold, texture of the arepa was off, almost stale. And the price is crazy for these when you can get much more filling and palatable arepas at the Pearl location.

I’ve visited Denver 3 times this year and luckily I found this place the 1st time and have returned every time thereafter. I’ve only tried the Pabellon, and keep getting it each time. The combo of flavorful meat and sweet plantain is perfect. The bread has a crusty edge and their sauce is perfect. Best Arepa I’ve ever had.

I have been a regular at Quiero Arepas in Avanti. The arepas they are serving are a 1/4 to 1/3 smaller and thinner than they used to be. The filling was about 1/3 less. My arepa was supposed to have beans and there was a hint of a couple of beans. They used to give a small container with sauce and now they charge for it. This place used to be worth it. But $15 for a skinny half filled arepa with ingredients missing is a RIPOFF. You can not charge the same for less and expect to keep your customers. Will not return to this place. Extremely dissapointed.

We were heading back to Boulder and wanted to grab a quick bite. I want sure what to expect, but I loved it. The arepa has a great crunch to it, the guasaca wasn't overpowering, and everything went well together. I was really glad we ordered a snack on the way!

The arepas take a while to be prepared but they are delicious. The arepa itself is crispy but also a bit soft, and the sweet plantains are to die for. The passion fruit juice is also great.

Probably some of the best arepas I've ever had! The pulled pork is great!

The arepas from here are not authentic at all. An Americanized version that is over packed with avocados and cheese that over power any meat you get. Bread was dry and salmon did not taste good. The service was ok. Wouldn’t eat here again, plenty of other choices in the food court
