LOVE this place! Excellent food + service, friendly staff, and the owners are wonderful people. I love the atmosphere in this Avanti location, and I can't wait to go back for more. (Also this is a great place if you have a gluten allergy, and they have vegan/vegetarian options!)

Great little dedicated GF spot. Simple menu. The stewed beef arepas was SO GOOD. I wasn't as stoked on the chicken/mayo. But everything I've gotten is worth it. Will go back.

I’m really disappointed with this place. These arepas are so whitewashed, and there’s a lot wrong here. The arepa crust itself is bland and lacks flavor. The Reina Pepiada arepa was cold and tasteless—almost like it’s against the rules to add salt. As for the ham and cheese arepa, avoid it at all costs. The mix of overly smoky black forest ham and deli ham made it the worst dish we tried.
The only thing I enjoyed were the plantains, which were good. Unfortunately, we spent $60 on food we couldn’t eat, and I hate wasting food. Definitely not worth the price or the hype.

The rating is because I consider customer service and attention to be essential in any place that serves the public. To begin with, the white-skinned person who attends is super unfriendly and doesn't respond well to questions. We understand that he doesn't speak Spanish, but have a little empathy.
Parking: Zero recommended.

This is a superb establishment that has perfected the pabellon arepa with a new twist of melted cheese and the best fried plantains I’ve ever had outside of my grandmothers kitchen. I miss this place when I’m not eating here. They cook everything from scratch and all are whole ingredients that seem to be indulgent but it really fills you up with energy and flavor!
