I have gone to Racines for years. Kind of liked the Bannnock location better with its large windows where you could see the night traffic and late hours. We would often go after the theater and have margaritas and nachos. Still it is a favorite place at the location now.

I have been going to Racines before they moved to their current location. This has been a staple in my life as a fantastic restaurant that has stayed grounded to its roots of great food, amazing environment, decent pricing, and an overall Colorado favorite. The salsa is amazing, the green chili is fantastic, and my favorite thing to order is the eggs Mazatlan. I never even look at anything else on the menu. In my 20+ going to Racines I have never had a bad experience.

The one-stop shop for dining with friends. Extensive menu with lots of favorites, excellent cocktails, attentive service. Tip-only valet parking is nice too.

.My wife and I had to make a trip south of downtown and decided to go to Racines. We were meet at the door and quickly seated. Our waitress folliwed right behind us after getting seated. We ordered our lunch and it was delivered in a very respectable amount of time. I had ordered a Chicken Fried Steak and my wife had a Avocado Cheese Omelet. We really enjoyed our meals, very tasty. They were both very good, hot, and nicely plated. Price is reasonable, service very good, nice atmosphere. We rarely go downtown, but this experience may just change that

Favorite neighborhood restaurant/bar in Denver. Portions are large & I’ve never had a bad meal. The staff are super friendly, attentive & go out of their way! If only there were MORE Racine’s in this world!

Arguably 1 of the BEST PLACES to eat in DTown! Every time I have been here it has impressed. Before a concert, just before heading home from vacay, date night, breakfast before adventure in the mile high, whatever, the place rocks from vibe, food, staff, location, valet parking, excellent bar. The wall behind the bar, is decked out with awards and rightfully so. Try their unbelievable mile high nachos as an appetizer. So good, can split with 4 friends and they themselves will invoke a conversation. I always promote this place. Haven't been let down for doing so yet. Enjoy♡

The decor and seating is very nice, definitely a place to go to when you feel fancy. Food is excellent, they seem to have lots of burgers and sandwiches, breakfast too. A bar dominates the middle of the room, I have still yet to try it.

The food here is always good, whether brunch or dinner. They have a great selection of bloody Mary’s. Always a great choice for a casual meal.

3/14/2020 update: Much to my surprise I received a message from Racines inviting me back so for a better experience. It was a thoughtful gesture and customer-minded because they wanted to do better. We went for brunch. I thought the food was much better. This time it was slightly under salted; no problem because easy to add rather than remove salt. Omelets were generous and came out quickly. Biscuits were fine. Thus was a good American breakfast, nothing more or less. But it's sometimes good to know there's traditional American fare still alive in the heartland. Same rating but I'll return because the owners are engaged and care about the diner. Thank you!! .............. Original review: This is around 3.5 stars. When we moved to Denver in 1999 Racines was a mainstay restaurant in the city. The place now feels a bit dated; I heard three Squeeze songs during our meal. The menu hasn't changed much though they now have the Impossible burger as the vegetarian option. Nutty cheese salad still good and we liked the queso though the accompanying tortilla chips were over salted. K thought the French dip was not good. The bread was an untoasted hoagie bun and he likes toasted crusty bread. The meat was grisly and the bun was wet with spilled jus. The fries were excellent.

Had a great conversation with the owner about the menu change. Denver folks, our long time favorite spots need our support. It may be tempting to go to a chain, but the local eateries are the lifeblood of our cities and neighborhoods. They're doing all they can to make things work, but we have to do our part as well.

Great food, portion size is excellent! The service is great as are the prices. The environment is cozy and warm. This is a great place to visit with family and friends.
