Pretty meh ramen/bowls. We were recommended the place but were disappointed when our bowls lacked flavor or any kind of redeeming qualities. The tsukemen was not good. As for the ramen broth it was flat. We have had a variety of Asian and Japanese cuisine and it didn't match what we expected.

Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in years. Bryan was amazing, took great care of us, and the food was INCREDIBLE! Amazing flavors and clearly made with such care. Will be back again and again!

15/10… move over Chinese congee, here comes Japanese zosui. Fabulously fishy with strings of faux crab, it’s a porridge I could eat ten times a day. New menu item- ORDER IT!

Honestly kinda disappointed with the experience. The service was good and the server was very friendly. My partner got the kimchi broth and not only was it very spicy the broth didn't really have any flavor at all. The ramen star was alright, although it was extremely salty, too salty. Unfortunately neither of us really finished the meal. Especially for the meal being almost 60 dollars it seemed like it could have been a lot better. My experience does not line up with the other reviews so my assumption is it was just an off night.

First time in, Brian was a phenomenal server and the only staff member taking orders. For an appetizer I ordered a Temaki hand roll which was incredible. (Simple with a little bit of onion crunch). The ramen is definitely high quality and if you’re adverse to spice I recommend getting the chili paste on the side because a little goes a long way. If you have time to savor let the fat form the cha shu (pork belly) melt into the ramen to give your base a rich and creamy texture that will make you so full and happy! Will definitely be back!

We came in and set at the bar while waiting for our takeout. The staff is very personable friendly and we can’t wait to come sit in at the restaurant next time! Authentic Japanese ramen, food and drink - 5 stars!

I enjoyed my first experience here. Service was great and everyone was friendly. The fried mackerel and shumai were delicious. I ordered the Ramen Star which is described in their menu as:Deep, rich, long-lasting flavor of Ramen Star's signature umami broth soup │ fresh daily home-made noodles │ topped with pork shoulder chashu │ seasonal thinly sliced fried veggies │ pickled radish │ green onionsWhile I have spent many years in Tokyo and Yokohama and enjoyed countless bowls of ramen, I am not Japanese and do not claim to know what ramen “should” be. I can only compare. This is the oiliest ramen I have ever had. As far as “rich”, it is the richest by far I have ever had. Almost sickening and tough to eat after a few bites. When I took it home I left it out at room temp to see if saturated fats would solidify. The entire bowl was solid like bacon fat. I will return to try other dishes for sure but again, as far as my experience with ramen this was completely different and overly fatty and rich.

I ordered a vegetable tempura rice bowl. The bowl had one soggy tomato in tempura batter but that was it. There was a piece of eggplant that was so greasy I couldn’t eat it. In addition the rice had no flavor, no sauce and was dry. Very disappointing to say the least.
