Got to tour the bakery with some friends and had an absolute blast! Every single staff member took the time to explain what they were doing, and why they love their job. I have never seen so many happy faces! Zach was so sweet, answered all my questions and gave me some great tips for my home bread baking. Fantastic experience, I can’t wait to go back! The pastries are divine. A must experience!
My husband and I were on a cross country road trip. We had lots of stops to make, but very high on our list was a stop at Rebel Bread. I am soo glad we drove out of our way to get there before it closed. It far exceeded our expectations. We made it in time to try the delicious sandwiches, the Focaccia it was made on was delicious. We were so excited at the incredible pastries to choose from, it would be impossible to choose which one was our favorite. But hands down the sour...
I have been wanting to try Rebel and was excited to run by their stand at the South Pearl Farmers Market. I don’t recommend buying from them there. I asked for a sourdough and 3 people had to check to make sure that what they were giving me. When I brought it to a dinner party I was disappointed to learn it was a seeded rye. Not sure how you don’t know what bread it is?
