Angelica is the best! This is our second year in a row hosting our company's March Madness happy hour with Angelica at Recess. From event coordination to bartending, Angelica made sure everyone was taken care of and that the event ran smoothly. She is extremely kind and personable, and we will definitely be back!

The 20 somethings I was in town with wanted a place to unwind after four days of hard work. This is where they wanted to go and I know why. Seems like half of Denver's younger people were there. This is the place to go to meet up and have a good time. and let your hair down, so to speak. The food was typical bare fare, and pretty good...just that I don't drink. Still a very good, though crowded, place to go.

This place has one of the best burgers and fried chicken sandwich in Denver. That sauce is absolutely amazing on the burger. The fried chicken sandwich was juicy and well seasoned, which is hard to come by these days. I see Recess has step their game up.

The food was amazing, some of the best of downtown Denver. The beer selection was huge, overall one of our favorite spots in Denver.
Great place but they took out a lot of menu items! Would come here for lunch all the time and the chili tots where the best with a pacifico. Still a good place for lunch and a beer with friendly staff.

Such a cute place just came for drinks but love the atmosphere + they had a pop up xmas party and it was very adorable the way they decorated it! It's quite a big place really I think they have 2 separate in door and a giant courtyard between* will definitely be back:)

"Meh" at best. Food was solidly mediocre & service was pretty much a chore for the folks behind the bar. It's like I was just an annoyance to the 2 bartenders, although I guess expected since all they did was talk about how hungover they were from the previous night of partying...even though I came in for a pretty late lunch around 3-ish, in the middle of the week, during Happy Hour. The whole atmosphere (and odor) was just depressing.
