Can't think of anything they could do better! Great, fresh ingredients that are seen throughout the menu. Gluten free options and might I add, a personalized creme brulee. We recommend starting with the Bo La Lot!

Pretty surprised by the high reviews. I think the word “mid” describes this place very well. Not bad by any means, but not great either.
My friend and I split the green mango salad (with pork belly on the side) and the bo la lot. They were just okay. The pork belly was chewy, not tender, and the beef was pretty salty. The fish sauce helped cut away some of the saltiness, but a bit more sweetness in the dishes would have added some much needed balance.
The service left a lot to be desired. The server took a long time to take our order, and was a bit short when she finally did. The other man working was more friendly, but had an odd approach to banter. Overall, not very hospitable or attentive whatsoever. They also forgot about our dessert, which we had to remind them about.
The food is definitely very Americanized Asian cuisine. What we ordered were essentially Vietnamese dishes that were very expensive and improperly executed. Maybe the other dishes are out of this world, but I think each dish they offer should be strong given how small the menu is.
The best part about this place was the ambiance, particularly in the later evening when it’s dark out. It’s quiet enough where you can chat with a friend and catch up.

I took my girlfriend here for a celebration dinner and it was such a great experience.
The green beans were perfectly done. Our server recommended the shrimp and it was one of the best dishes we had. It was seasoned so well. The wings were also delicious. We wish we could have brought the sauce home. The fish was also amazing. While the salad was good, the other dishes just were so amazing we almost forgot about it.
I can’t wait to come back and have another wonderful meal.

I’m 100% satisfied.
🥱 pretty mid! Lame sauces, sorry if you read this Noodle House staff! We got the food to go so maybe it’s better in person?

It’s fine. Pretty expensive for what it is. Relies mostly on “aesthetic”. Very hot inside when I went.

I come to Reckless often and absolutely love it. It is my go to place to bring out of town visitors because everyone I have taken has loved it.
I don’t think you can go wrong with the anything on the menu. My favorite is the MaLa Beef Cheek noodles. I am a real wimp re: spice and so I get the numbing oil on the side but it would be ok on it also. It’s so delicious and hearty and just feels like a comfy cozy meal in the best way. The lobster Rangoon bao is great and I adore the Vietnamese coffee Crème brûlée. It’s so good!
Drinks are great and tend to be on the strong side. I love the banana hammock. Also their regular horchata is delicious though I wish it in was a little bit bigger glass.
Service here is excellent. The gentleman who I believe is the owner or manager is very friendly and always ensures great service. All staff have been warm and welcoming and helpful. Overall great place!!

Reckless is so good, I really can’t figure out how this place does fill up more, even on weekday evenings. Hopefully that changes over time and they get busier, but I would highly recommend checking this place out now because it’s so good and there’s rarely a wait during the week. I’ve had multiple items off their menu and it’s really hard to choose a favorite, everything I’ve had has been amazing.

This place is so good, yet it's easy to miss with its understated dark exterior. It's around the corner from a slew of fine establishments like The Vesper Lounge and Wild Taco, but after a drink at Vesper, Reckless offers a slick interior with a great drink menu and even better, mindblowing, tasty food. Papaya Salad, Duck Egg Roll, and Beef Cheek Noodles that my husband dreams about.
There's a great happy hour!
Run, don't walk.

At the northeast corner of Sherman and 8th there lies a Vietnamese restaurant that's slinging positive vibes and even better food. The beef cheek noodles are fantastic and maybe one of the best dishes in the neighborhood. The drinks are also stiff so you're getting your money's worth.
