I've been coming to the roost since 2012 if I considered any place in Colorado to be my go-to for delicious food this is my place...We eat here at least once a week and I love it every time !! The chicken fried steak skillet is my go to ! All the servers here are amazing and a lot of them have been there 10+ years..Here is a photo of my c.f.s skillet

What you expect from a small diner. Good good, great service, affordable prices. The atmosphere is classic diner, too many tables and people constantly walking right by your table, but not bad enough to dissuade me from enjoying myself.

We stopped by this place today. The service was really good, the lady was super nice and helpful with menu questions. I totally recommend the pancakes. I had the vegetarian omelette and my hubby had the breakfast burrito. The plates are big portions and almost 2 people can share. We had a lot leftover from both plates. The only thing I could say is that my omelette needed some seasoning. I guess if u are watching your sodium intake, then it would be fine.Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian omelette.

Looks like a hole in the wall, but big a roomy in side. You can have whatever off the menu, from 6 am to 2 pm. They've been there for bout 14 yrs .Kid-friendliness: Kid section on menu, cook is fast

Found this little Cafe a couple months ago. I've been to a couple of these old time cafes like this and hands down this one is my favorite. The food is always soo good and the staff is super friendly. Any waitress you get will surely take care of you. My favorite meal here so far is the Gyro sandwich. The meat is shaved thin with plenty of flavor. Also very moist and tender they do not overcook it. My daughter got a cheesburger kids meal. Let me tell you I was surprised to see the cheesburger was huge for a kids meal. She enjoyed it very much. Breakfast is great to. Plenty of options for breakfast and lunch. Greek burger is soo delicious as well. Please do yourself a favor and stop in for some good ol classic American food ?.
