Rhapsody Karaoke & Chicken Wings

I used to love this bar—the vibe, the aesthetic, the energy. But after hosting a private party in the downstairs speakeasy, I won’t be coming back. • Booking was a hassle. My card kept was fraud flagged by my bank 3 times so I used my girlfriend’s. That matters later. • I signed a contract for 4 hours. We discussed 3 via text, but I never confirmed. • The bar was overpriced and barely stocked—no ice, just canned drinks and a few liquors. • The bartender was rude, refused to serve guests while eating during the party, and was short with several people. • Staff tried to end the party an hour early, even after I showed my signed contract. They told several party guests repeatedly the party was ending when it was not. • The owner allowed the full time but falsely claimed I’d signed a new contract. • The next day, I got a condescending email blaming me and “waiving” a $50 fee—for using plates. • Then they charged my girlfriend’s card $500 for damage to a cushion—damage that already existed, as shown in one of the videos highlighted on their own Instagram. • I later found they edited the signed contract to reflect 3 hours instead of 4. Both contracts show signed at the exact same time. You can not edit a signed contract. • When asked for proof of damage, they told my girlfriend to “subrogate” the money from me—as if my partner should sue me over a cushion. While also suggesting I had used her card and provided her no information. What could’ve been a great night turned into a frustrating, disrespectful experience. What’s most disappointing is how much fun I have had here in the past. My friends are huge karaoke queens and I was certain we would be repeat customers.

Awesome bartender, the place was clean, great ambiance and just overall so much fun. We had a blast!

My group and I came to Rhapsody for a private event and couldn't have had a better experience. Hillary, Ben, and team were amazing in making sure that we had everything we needed and that we felt comfortable. Highly recommend the private speakeasy room downstairs if you've got a small group! Will definitely be back.

GREATTTT PLACE, I love coming into this place and getting on stage with friends, the energy is so AWESOME!! The whole staff including the owners are so friendly & do a great job at keep things fun here, wether it’s just a quick night out with friends or wanting to host a private event, THIS IS THE PLACEEE!!

#1 KARAOKE BAR IN DENVER...HANDS DOWN!

Rhapsody Karaoke is without a doubt the coolest karaoke bar I have ever been to. The space itself, all of the cool art and colors on the walls, the ambience, the staff, the food/drink menu, 5 stars across the board no question.

I recently went to Rhapsody for a private company team-building event for my company and man did they take care of us! We had an incredible private room where we had our own bar and bartender, comfortable seating, delicious drinks, and spent two full hours singing our hearts out without having to wait one minute. The service was fantastic.

And then once we finished our private booking, we just went upstairs to the main public stage and bar area where we met tons of cool people and continued partying the night away, singing songs, and having a blast.

Man, I cannot say enough good things about Rhapsody’s new speakeasy private party room. We recently had the good fortune to enjoy the space for a surprise birthday party. Ben was awesome from the get go… he called me in response to a booking email I had sent within 24hrs and stayed consistently communicative in the lead up to the event. He was a fun host throughout our 3.5 hour time slot there.

We were allowed to bring in our own food and decorations and the venue had drinks for purchase. The room itself is SUPER fun, from the decor to the stage and theater couches for the “audience”. The song choices had a good variety and the private bathrooms meant no one had to worry about missing their song waiting in line. The facility was very clean. You can also tell at first glance that a lot of care and attention to detail went into its design.

Everyone raved from the moment we left how it was an awesome time! Will absolutely be going back, for both open floor karaoke AND hosting private events in their speakeasy. Rhapsody made our night a success and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Don’t hesitate to book, you won’t regret it!

Amazing scene and great drink availability/specials. If you're not a fan of singing publicly, take advantage of the AMAZING private area. Surprised a friend for his birthday, and we all had an amazing time. Thanks, Ben, for the brilliant service!

I came down here for a karaoke period I was hungry. So I ordered the chicken wings period. Waiting to sing and then I they turned off the karaoke. He said there wasn't going to be any more karaoke. That night is there having a private party. Waited for my wings to go for about twenty thirty minutes. Also order cheese sticks. So i'm starving, and I decided to eat one of the wings on my way to my next destination, Wings were bloody not fully cooked. Cheese sticks were still frozen inside. Not a good first impression. And I never got to sing after coming all the way down here from Aurora.

For a place that has karaoke and wings in their name they seem to not fully understand how to do either of them. We went to karaoke last night and at 9:40 they suddenly cut off the karaoke for some DJ that was not advertised when we came in, they also said they were charging a cover for it which was ridiculous. Our friends in the group didn’t get to do their songs which was very disappointing. Also their fire alarm kept going off so it was hard to hear when people were singing anyways. The food was okay but the wings were baked which was odd, the server was very nice. Overall a super bizarre experience, we had been a few times before and enjoyed our time there but this experience really ruined it for us and we will not be returning.
