I've eaten here several times now, and it is a great North Carolina-themed biscuit joint. There are new biscuits of the day, new coffee selections weekly, and friendly staff. A great value for a casual breakfast.

Rise & Shine Biscuit Kitchen was on point! This was my first time here and it was truly enjoyable.Basically a build your own breakfast sandwich. Skip the fast food places and come here to have fresh food that is top notch.The Biscuit of the Day is a great go-to! Even if it sounds “weird” they know what they are doing, just get it. I didn’t- my buddy did- I was outta luck but thankfully they let me try theirs. It was delicious but I was hesitant because it sounded like it wouldn’t be good.They also have coffee and will know what type of drink to make if you prefer something from a chain- but it will taste way better!Their biscuit cinnamon rolls are AMAZING! much better consistency than a regular cinnamon roll that sits heavy- their biscuit dough makes it light and fluffy!Parking: Parking sucks anywhere there isn’t a parking lot. Be prepared to street park and take a nice walk to and from Rise & Shine.

So simple and so delicious and super reasonable prices- you’re getting way more than what you pay for. The biscuits are perfect, and the Hatteras cinnamon role biscuit was 10/10 it rearranged my brain cells.
When I was a child, my fondest memories were when my older sister would stop by a local establishment to get a biscuit on the way into school. Being a NC native I have a fond appreciation for the art of the chicken biscuit. It has been many moons since I have felt such innocent warmth and radiant joy. Your Chapel Hill entrée has successfully liberated me from the annoyance and dissatisfaction of the daily hustle. I am forever indebted to you and your team.

Definitely would recommend this!! The atmosphere is very good and it's pretty quiet, so it'd be a good place to study or get work done. I got a Charlotte biscuit sandwich (basically a BLT on a biscuit) and it was So Delicious. As soon as I finished I felt sad bc I wanted more. The workers are also all super nice!! Very glad my friend brought me here.
