The vents and light fixtures were so dusty. It seems like it hasn’t been cleaned for months!! My family and I were grossed out with how filthy the restaurant was.

Friday August 30th closed due to construction

Afternoon of August 18th went in with my wife. Barely any staff to be found. Took an eternity for any service. When beers were asked about we were told we had to scan a qr code to know what beers were available, and we couldn't get a question answered.

We left to go get a beer somewhere else instead, that wouldn't require us to use a qr code.

I stopped by at Rock Bottom Restaurant on 08/19 /2024 at 5:30 pm with my wife to have dinner . I asked the hostess to give us the window table because of my eyesight. She took us to a dark corner because of the server rotation. My question is who is more important the client or the server. After talking to the manager to accommodate us , she refused and said they have to go by sever rotation even though the restaurant was almost completely empty. We walked out and choose another restaurant who accommodate us.

Stopped by for a few local beers and I wasn’t disappointed. Good selection and the beers I tried were fine too! Nothing too fancy, just good beer. Great service. Can’t rate the food, as I didn’t eat anything.

The food was absolutely not good,
For 30 dollars I expected a ribeye steak not pounded like a chicken fried steak without it even being fried.
I asked for my steak Medium Rare and it was thin and way over well done. That is so embarrassing for a place on 16th street to be serving such terrible quality of meat for the price!

The place I work at not even a mile from there serves a way better cut of steak for less than that. The mashed potatoes were freezing cold and the Brussel sprouts were old, cold and inedible. I did not say anything because my date and I ended up feeling really sick with me being stuck to the toilet for the rest of the night. I’m honestly embarrassed that I ate here. The server was great but never asked us how the food was because i’m sure she knows it’s bad.

I don’t usually write reviews but this was bad. This is a photo of my tomato bisque. It was more like a bowl or marinara sauce. As other reviews have stated, the waitress acted as if it’s normal for people to not eat their food.

To give credit where it’s due- there were 3 croutons on top and those were delightful!

(In addition to this, I got a margherita pizza. It tasted fine but was nothing more than a cheese pizza with a couple added dollops of mozerella. Sooo much cheese on that thing. My husband got a burger with fries and said it tasted ok.)

I don't understand these negative reviews.

I come here several times a week as I live down the block and both the quality of the food and the service are always top notch.

The servers are friendly and attentive.

Abraham and Declan at the bar always take care of me!

They have their own in house brews which change from week to week but they're all tastey. Food wise I highly recommend the chicken fried chicken!

Thank you thank to Melanie and the team at Rock Bottom!!! We hosted a happy hour event here during a conference that was happening in the area. Melanie made it so easy to coordinate our event, and when we had twice as many people show up as RSVP'd, she and the team did an AMAZING job keeping up with our larger than expected group!! The servers who supported us were incredible - keeping up with our large group without any sign of feeling overwhelmed. They kept the drinks flowing and the buffet stocked. It was amazing and we had rave reviews from our guests. THANK YOU!!

Was a huge miss for us. Palce was empty between 2 and 3pm. Food took 20 to 30 minutes. Food was under cooked and staged for too long, or overcooked and cold. Waitress was good.

This place is trash!!!!! The waiter honestly sat us down @ a dirty table. Asked to be moved and the lady came and cleaned the table and wouldn’t let us move!? After that we waiting 18 minutes for our server to come drop of menus and get us drinks. After 30 minutes we placed an order of sirloin steak and side order of shrimp. 8 minutes later the waiter comes out and says sorry we cannot provide a side of shrimp but your are more welcome to order it as a appetizer. I asked what the difference and she said the owner said they will not provide it as a side!? So we decided to have dinner out at a different restaurant so much for celebrating a 35th birthday at a brewery place that can’t even accommodate a side of shrimp, because they would rather make an extra 18$ for a appetizer.! This place is a joke! Way to go! Such much for visiting downtown! Never again.! Don’t got to Rocky Bottom! Unless you wanna be disappointed!
