Chubby Cattle Denver is hands-down one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had! My partner and I loved it so much that we went three times in a single week — twice in just a couple of days — before slowing down only to save our wallet.
All three visits, we had the same waiter, Diego, and he was AMAZING. Friendly, fun, and genuinely funny, Diego gave outstanding service every single time. He’s the kind of server who makes the whole experience even better, and he played a big role in bringing us back again and again.
The hot pot here is unbeatable. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, high-quality, and diverse — with many meats, noodles, vegetables, and extras to choose from. Everything is all-you-can-eat, so you can try new combinations every time. The broths are rich and flavorful, and the sauces let you customize your perfect bite.
If you’re looking for amazing hot pot, great atmosphere, and phenomenal service, Chubby Cattle Denver is a must-visit. And if you can, ask for Diego — you’ll be glad you did!

Me and my friends went here a week ago and the service to start was awful. We walk in the door right at 5pm and try to join their wait list on their iPad that they require you to do. After hitting submit multiple times it kept popping up an error message that we couldn’t join the waitlist. We then stand there for 5 more minutes until someone finally acknowledged us and asked if we joined the waitlist in a very rude way. Remind you the restaurant has maybe 5 people in there with many tables and bar space open. It was an inconvenience to him that we were there I guess, later we also found out this is the owner….
We then proceed to sit down to eat and the wait staff explained the process of how to order to us very well and we proceeded to order. When we got to the sushi roll part me and my partner tried to order the same roll and the wait staff/owner told us we couldn’t do that even tho it said no where in the menu that we couldn’t all order the same thing. We then order nigiri and you can only order 2 pieces a time per person. We waited 10 minutes for these first two pieces which was fine considering they were getting busier, but we then ordered another set of two each and it took over 40 minutes to get this order. We then asked the owner where it was and he began to argue with one of our party member that it was coming and we had to just be patient, even tho one of the staff later told us our order was not placed by him and essentially lost. This was ridiculous considering it’s a piece of fish on rice that takes very little prep. The sushi belt also had very basic sushi with mostly the same stuff that they just add a couple different sauces or maybe a random tuna to switch it up but otherwise the sushi was very basic and all very similar to each other.
For a hot pot place this place is good and could be worth it for maybe 25.00. But the fact they sell it as a all you can eat sushi and hot pot is a lie. Sushi is very low grade and slow to get to your table and the hot pot is good but not good enough for 40.00 a person. Especially when that’s mostly all you are getting since the sushi seems to take forever.
Definitely will not be going back and the biggest upset was realizing that the waiter/greeter was actually the owner. He should not be in an owner position cause he has no people skills or work ethic.

Accidentally charged me for someone else's bill and refuses to work with my bank to refund the overcharge. I did not want to pay for everyone else's food while I dined there. Apparently you do not seem to have a problem with this and refuse to refund the incorrect amount.
I wish there was a zero star.

Can’t recommend this place enough! My sister actually found this place though a TikTok someone had posted and decided to try it out with was a couple of months ago. We’ve been back at least once a month, if not more. The food is just so good! I always be getting that spicy Tonkotsu.

My boyfriend and I went here for a date night. The food was decently good and the staff were nice. We did come across a few issues though...my boyfriend has a shellfish allergy and despite telling this to our server his food was plated with mine, when my food contained shrimp. Luckily he didn't have any severe allergic reactions but it was still slightly concerning. I know its risky to go to a restaurant like this with allergies but I would atleast hope they'd put his food on a separate plate considering this allergy. They were also a bit slow but as someone who has worked in the food industry I can understand some nights can be very busy and hectic. Overall food and service was decent but I just want others with any allergies to be cautious when eating here.
