Had an amazing dinner here! The food was delicious, but the real highlight was our server, Francisco. He went above and beyond! Super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and made the whole night feel special by making sure we enjoyed every item that came our way. If you visit, ask for Francisco whether he's serving or behind the bar, he'll make sure you have a great time!

We waited an incredibly long time for our food... We got the wrong food first and then they shorted us. It would be right out, but it took another 20 or so minutes overall was not pleased. Perhaps they were understaffed, but they fell short of my expectations as a foodie.  Also the lamb burgers were very dry and we asked for them, medium medium rare, and our waitress didn't seem to care when I had said that they're dry.  and they were really strange orange color inside I think a little too orangey -  the veggie burgers were good, but definitely very spicy and you should let your customers know that. Anyway, our mock tails were phenomenal.

Everyone at our table really liked the food. Gnocchi was our favorite but it may be leaving the menu. The chicken dish got rave reviews. All paired with great service. Looking forward to a return visit.

Lovely evening with friends. We arrived early and ordered every Happy Hour small plate item plus drinks. It was quiet and we were able to catch up. When we were ready to leave at 7pm, it was very loud in the bar area. Food was great and we shared each item except one each of the lamb sliders. Annie was the perfect server and gave great recommendations plus anticipated our every need!

The food was absolutely amazing. They have a heavy handed approach to seasoning, and after living in North Carolina for a few years, is a breath of fresh air.
Tons of clearly marked vegetarian and vegan options, great mix of seasoning and textures.
Great selection of wine as well.
Fantastic restaurant, highly recommend, and will be returning.

Fantastic meal in an old gas station converted and filled with architectural salvaged elements which create a very cool vibe!! Top notch ingredients served beautifully into creative dishes! Go there!

We hadn't been to Root Down in far too long! LOVE THIS PLACE! The fixed price Sunday menu is a FANTASTIC value! Soooo delicious! The vibe here is like coming home to a creative and wonderful place. Seeing several generations of families and friends at celebratory tables added to such a welcoming vibe. No wonder Root Down has lasted so long. We sure enjoyed celebrating our engagement anniversary here and will more excuses to return!
Great food, tucked away not far from downtown Denver. Menu has plenty of vegan/veg options and amazing desserts. Unique flavors elegantly done and friendly staff!

Really great to find so many vegetarian options. Much can be prepared began. Loved the gnocchi, hated the vegan chocolate tahini torte. Also, check out the wall garden where they grow greens.

We started with the Arepas and then went onto a Beet Salad, followed by the banana cream dessert, which was incredible. The food is rich, but not over salted and very good. The fall sangria is a must try.

First off, the food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch! Everyone loved everything we ate and our server was super friendly and very helpful! Aside from that this place is EXTREMELY accommodating to all dietary needs. My family can be picky eaters and I'm vegan, so finding a restaurant that meets everyone's needs is often hard. Not here! Everyone was able to find something delicious without any compromises! This is part of a bigger restaurant group, so I look forward to trying out their other establishments next time I'm in town!
