Not impressed. Went for lunch. There was only one person running the whole front of house so we waited a long time. The food was average. I ordered beef curry and there was about 2 ounces of beef in the dish. However the sauce was pretty tasty.
Awesome spot to get some great food. I’ve been two times and both times the dishes were delicious, this will be a new regular spot for me as I love a restaurant that has multiple dishes that are fantastic and not just a one hit wonder.
If you want to know what it’s like to eat at an actual restaurant in Japan, this is it. This is a very authentic little Japanese restaurant, serving up standard dishes with no frills, flavored and prepared very well. Service was a 1 woman show, super friendly but when it’s busy that means being patient. Atmosphere is not here to wow you. But all of this honestly contributes to the experience being exactly like eating at a little mom & pop restaurant in Japan. Everything...
