Probably the loveliest place I have ever been to for brunch. From the moment we were greeted at the entrance of this gorgeous house, we were made to feel welcomed and the hostess even oriented us to the location of restrooms which was a nice touch. We were seated on the outdoor patio which had a peaceful and beautiful ambiance. Southern themed breakfast/brunch/lunch place... Stand outside are fried green tomatoes, crab cake Benedict, pimento biscuits... Fresh Beignets. Quick and very courteous service, built into old homes in this upward area. Prep is exceptional. Pleasant all around.
We were a group of four on the morning of the 4th of July. Had a table outside- what a wonderful atmosphere! I enjoyed the Deep South Benedict- I didn't know an egg dish could be so delicious! We were glad we arrived mid-morning because later the line to get in was quite long, and I could see why: the food is just amazing!! Very friendly staff. This is definitely your place if you have a special occasion to celebrate- even if the occasion is being glad to be alive another...
