Nice neighborhood eatery. Homey. Small and very crowded the night we went, not a lot of elbow room. Good food, friendly atmosphere. Service was good. Somewhat limited menu, 5 entrees, but many starters. I would happily go again.

This was our first time to Satchel's. We went for our Anniversary and it was great. Restaurant was packed so we had a drink then were seated. Had the Fig salad, zucchini blossoms and lovely cocktails to start. Finished with the smoked pork chop and the black cod. Wonderful place, great food, we'll be back!

Worst meal I ever had at Satchel's by far and I go regularly. The food was terrible. The pork was overcooked. The cod was super fatty and undercooked and doused in some sugary mixture. Our waiter was clearly stressed and could barely stay at the table for us to finish our appetizer order much less take out dinner order. I was embarrassed to have brought friends there and doubt Ill be back soon. So disappointing for what I had considered a neighborhood gem.
Satchels is the quintessential neighborhood spot with friendly people (customers and staff), tasty food prepared with love and served with aplomb and grace. Serving good food is not inexpensive in these times we’re in and anyone who complains about this at a place like Satchel's where the food is perfectly portioned and priced fair, is simply unreasonable and should stay home—-I think they’d be surprised to find out how much it costs to prepare food on par with the excellence that Satchels delivers.
