Sat at the bar, great vibe, great food, misic and service. Had the marg, martini, Brussel sprouts, lemon gnocchi, split the black cod and the strawberry shortcake and fennel cello were the perfect ending! Will definitely be back!

Service was poor and will affect our decision to return.. our waitress was inattentive. We had to ask for everything. She did not check on us. We asked others for a to go box and to cork our wine. Neither our waitress or the second person. We worked our own bottle and left after we had paid 6bill.

Nice neighborhood eatery. Homey. Small and very crowded the night we went, not a lot of elbow room. Good food, friendly atmosphere. Service was good. Somewhat limited menu, 5 entrees, but many starters. I would happily go again.

This was our first time to Satchel's. We went for our Anniversary and it was great. Restaurant was packed so we had a drink then were seated. Had the Fig salad, zucchini blossoms and lovely cocktails to start. Finished with the smoked pork chop and the black cod. Wonderful place, great food, we'll be back!

Worst meal I ever had at Satchel's by far and I go regularly. The food was terrible. The pork was overcooked. The cod was super fatty and undercooked and doused in some sugary mixture. Our waiter was clearly stressed and could barely stay at the table for us to finish our appetizer order much less take out dinner order. I was embarrassed to have brought friends there and doubt Ill be back soon. So disappointing for what I had considered a neighborhood gem.

Excellent food that wasnt overly salty (too much salt is so common at most restaurants and these days!). Wish there had been a vegetarian entrée available. Very heavy on the meat, but luckily there was one fish option for someone who eats only veggies and seafood.
