I have lived in Colorado for about 35 years and because of my job I travel the world. When I travel, I go to the pubs because those are the spots to meet cool people and have good times. This place had a vibe I have never experienced in my travels. It is a small dive bar, but it is everything that everyone loves about a dive bar and authentic and very well cared for. I have to add, I went there looking for a homeless friend that was missing in the downtown area, so I was only there less 5 minutes, And I did not have time to purchase anything. Now I can’t wait to go back and have a relaxing drink sometime, it is that great of a place. The bartender, who I learned though the westward, was the owner as well and just took it over Jan 1st of this year, a few days ago, is a fantastic guy. This is a gem in the Denver area and I wish him many prosperous years ahead. This is a surely a true Denver gem. You would be robbing yourself if you do jot visit here while you are in Denver.

Super cozy and divey vibes.
One of the bartenders was VERY drunk and incredibly condescending to his own coworker. He was aggressively talking down to him which was wildly uncomfortable. They got so distracted that it took 10 minutes for them to pour a shot that I ordered. So definitely something weird going on with staff, but the vibe of the place is quite charming otherwise.

I moved here from the east coast recently, this bar is a block from my apt so went there and love it! The bartenders are really nice and cool. The people are nice, it’s cheap and I actually left my book bag there by accident one Saturday night and went there Sunday when they opened and they had it, everything was there so very appreciative!
