Came for the coffee and stayed for the patio. A nice and quiet spot to relax and read in the middle of the city. Get some food and a coffee/chai. I sat on the enclosed patio to soak in the fresh air, and didn’t worry about being bothered.

What a lovely little spot! The owner is very friendly, coffee and pastries delicious and they have a quiet, lovely courtyard in the back. Please help support these businesses during the relentless construction on Colfax. There is a cheap parking lot just down the block on York. So glad we popped in.

We stopped here today for the first time and really enjoyed it. The coffee shake was great, and the people there were really friendly. We're from our of town and they gave some nice suggestions of what to see. Denver is really fortunate to have a place like this!

Also don't let the construction outside deter you. The path in is well marked and easy to navigate.

While visiting Denver, we stumbled upon Savageau Coffee and Ice Cream and it turned out to be such a wonderful surprise. The shop was a little hard to find because of major street construction, but a kind neighbor pointed us to the back entrance. Once inside, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Sean Moore, who took the time to chat with us and made us feel right at home.

The coffee was excellent—truly better than Starbucks—and the food was top notch as well. We enjoyed it so much that we came back every morning during our four-day stay in Denver. Despite the challenges of construction outside, Sean’s warmth and hospitality made this place shine. We’re already looking forward to returning on our next trip!

Nice place to get a coffee drink, snacks and ice cream. Not a lot of ice cream flavors, but the flavors they have are tasty, and the ice cream is top quality.
Only one person working the counter, so there might be a slight wait, but it was worth it.
Cherry Danish was delicious, and Italian cream sodas were so good.

Just clearly great vibes, when I was there a lady from the neighborhood came in, just to say hi, I think that sort of things says a lot about a place and how it fosters a sense of community.
