Love the space and the workers are always great, this is exactly what the neighborhood needed. Unfortunately I will not be returning until the city pressures change from the company that owns it. City Street Investors is the exact type of owner that can afford to give full benefits and a living wage to its staff and even allow unions to flourish. A good neighborhood gathering space isn't actually good if an investment company is the largest benefactor...

Honestly an amazing spot. Great food, great service, and ice-cold beer.
And for the people melting down about the 20 percent fee… come on. Read the signs. The owners actually explain it. It’s there to close the wage gap between the back-of-house and the bartenders. They can’t just jack up beer prices because that just widens the gap even more. This solves it cleanly and transparently.
I respect the hell out of places that take care of their staff. If that annoys you, maybe the problem isn’t the fee.
We’ll be bringing family and friends here for sure.
Met for a working lunch and enjoying the space and food and beverage very much. Not so good was the parking lot. I highly recommend skipping the lot that's mentioned on the website and just park on the street.

We usually have great vibes here and you must definitely try the frozen espresso martinis. We always bring people here when people visit from out of town. It's a go to spot and they have great food and drink options. 10 stars

Came in for a drink. Lively place! Lots of space to hang out with a big crowd. Would come here more often if they didn’t charge me 20% for a beer. +$10 for one beer is simply too much.

A fantastic new gem to add to Denver’s local hangouts…a great place to meet up with groups and have places to sit and eat!…

20% service fee is ridiculous. how many bad reviews do you have to receive in order to reconsider this model? people clearly aren’t happy
I’m from out of town and recently visited this establishment for dinner.
I must say I was astounded when an automatic 20% was added to my bill.
It’s up to the owner of the restaurant to properly compensate The staff not me.
PAY YOUR STAFF PROPERLY THIS NOT A FULL SERVICE ESTABLISHMENT.
Raise your prices if necessary.
This is totally out of control.
I will not be back.
Further, I have read the explanation of the owner in another post for this restaurant and I adamantly disagree. Do not use me to test your model for paying your employees.

Love that it is dog friendly, it’s a little confusing between the two sides though, but the food and drinks are pretty delicious. They also have frozen drinks.

What a great use for an old building. Didn't try any of the food but the beer selection and service were great.
Pick a place to sit inside or out and then go order fast casual style. They give you a buzzer and it's that simple.
Looked like they were doing active construction on the building while we were there so I anticipate more businesses to be there next time. Besides the beer garden, café and thrift store.

The owners of this establishment own probably 10 to 15 other restaurants in the Denver area and are known union busters. The food is basic Cisco… So typical Denver. So I will not be back.
Strong drinks with a 20% tip added on. The rent on this place must be astronomical. They are not gonna do very well when winter comes and it’s too cold to sit outside I don’t think anyone’s gonna wanna sit In the dark dingy school part of the building. The inside Has horrible decor, lighting, and energy.
Just has a weird corporate, cold, no style vibe

The included service charge is nice not having to think about tip until you're reminded you've ordered from a counter, picked up your food and drinks from a counter, and cleaned up after yourself.
Only the inside bar has beer taps so be aware of the $9 cans of beer up front/outside. Atmosphere makes up for it all

Best coffee at coffee shop!
Closing secret garden because of unionization is unacceptable.
