This was our first trip to Senor Bear but it won't be our last. Our reservation was for 4:30 and we learned dinner wasn't served until 5:00. So we enjoyed happy hour for 30 minutes and then were able to order dinner right at 5:00. That worked out perfectly. We enjoyed the queso and cocktails first. The queso was tasty and the perfect size for two people. The cocktails tasted good and the presentation of them was stunning. Our entrees were also delicious. The service was impeccable. Dinner was more expensive than what we would typically do, but it was worth it.
We sat at the bar for a last minute Sunday dinner reservation. The bartender was extremely busy (one of two behind the bar) so the resulting service was below par. We ordered ceviche, candied mango, jerk chicken and papas. Everything except the papas was underwhelming. The idea of a Latin inspired menu misses on a number of levels. Overall an expensive, underwhelming experience that failed to live up to expectations.
Delicious fresh food with a great variety of flavors. We got the steak and pork chop and both were perfectly cooked. Loved the ambiance. The music was a bit loud, but besides that everything was wonderful!
Service was incredible and they went out of their way to deliver champagne and a desert for our anniversary celebration
The service was great. Shaina was knowledgeable and had suggestions and accommodations for those with nut allergies, lactose intolerance, and vegetarians all of which were in our party.
The horchata was a 11/10!! it was not like Horchata I’ve ever had. It was made with coconut milk or cream and toasted coconut on top. The second one we got had rum in it and we should not have done that. It’s way better without the rum.
Papaya/mango app 8/10
Burrata & corn with plantain chips 10/10
Coconut rice 7/10
Tomato & avocado salad-6/10. The tomatoes themselves were perfectly ripe and delicious. The avocado purée was lacking
Papas(loaded fingerlings)-7.5/10
We were cruising along great, and then the entrées came. Four of us ordered the picanha with the chimichurri sauce. And all four of us were highly disappointed. I would give it a 3/10. The french fries that came with it 9/10. Garlic aioli-6/10 tasted too much like mayonnaise
The chimichurri sauce 7.5/10
The picanha 1/10. It was so grisly and hard to cut and hard too chew, that after sawing off three bites I was too frustrated and disappointed to eat anymore. For $50, this should have been at least a 7/10.
I would go back for the horchata and apps and shareable, but not for the entrees.
Had a great time sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartender when it was slow. Food was excellent and they had really nice drinks as well. I probably ordered one too many dishes but was happy to try everything! Will be coming back for more.

We had a great time at Señor Bear The food was amazing. The service was excellent. We had a great time. We definitely are looking forward to going again. It was our first visit and we are thoroughly impressed.
Went here last minute for my birthday. It was soooo good! Do yourself a favor and get the spicy cucumber marg!
They make great drinks and are super friendly doing it! Didn’t eat anything but the peanuts, but the drinks were good, the vibes were right, and the staff were amazing. Can’t wait to come back for dinner

What a great place this was for a Sunday afternoon happy hour. The food is flavorful and interesting but the cocktails steal the show. The pisco sours and the Don't call me madam were what we had and really enjoyed. The service is great, everyone was very friendly and attentive.
Very mediocre food and service. Limited options for vegetarian entrees. Would not go back.
Senior Bear was a great sidewalk dining experience in Denver. Food was unique and delicious, service was very friendly and accomodating.
