Love this location, and the staff are great. But…I paid $14.50 for two coffees! I understand the service charge, but this is outrageous and makes me not want to return.
Atmosphere was nice. Coffee was pretty terrible. Auto service charge is dumb. Coffee shops should do without tips.
Everything is such a treat here but for some reason when paying, there’s no option to tip. And they’re not allowed to have a tip jar out? Let us tip!!
Cannot imagine a better addition to the park
Dirty chai w oat milk = $10.61. That's just too expensive for what it is, even if it tasted nice.
Runny whipped feta, but incredible recovery service… My friends and I sat in the patio for happy hour. We ordered some drinks and the whipped feta to share. The whipped feta was very wet—essentially the same consistency as ranch dressing. The vegetables looked old and limp, and the little croutons they served it with were nothing special. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture of the dish since I immediately took it back to the kitchen (yuck). However, I was delighted by the recovery service of the cafe staff, particularly Joy. She handled my concerns with grace, swiftness, and honesty. We received a refund for the feta and she even gifted us free coffee cake on the house! Thank you, Joy!!
Simple good with a lot of healthy choices and during on the park enjoying a summer's night is about as good as you can get.
Bonus is that you can get a little exercise in before sitting down with a jaunt around the park.
Nice staff and outdoor seating. Didn’t love my chicken salad sandwich but will be back to try other choices.
The Italian was excellent. Creamy herby yogurt sauce and sweet peppers. Simple arugula salad as a side. Good quality coffee. Well worth the price.
Service was mid. The barista seemed bothered by late afternoon business.
Where does the included service fee go? The staff said it’s not a tip share and they don’t see a dime of it. Yikes.

PRECIOUS little spot. Wish parking were better. There are spots in front of the entrance, but they appear to be reserved for another business, only allowing secret garden patrons to park after 5 and on weekends.
My favorite little cafe in Denver. Located in Cheesman Park.
What I like most about this cafe is its outdoor seating area. It is right next to the park, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's pricey though and they automatically add a 19% service charge which is interesting considering you order at the register. I usually get an iced latte which is excellent. Their burrito was tasty, but their croissant was dry and unimpressive. Service is inconsistent and music is usually too loud inside.
A little pricey but I enjoyed my coffee, pastry was nothing special but customer service was good
Love this coffee shop! I live in the neighborhood and come every week
One addition would make it a 6/5 stars! Would you please add cans of Diet Coke 🙏
