We had the chicken Parmesan and the gnocchi. The entrees were great portions and very fresh.  we wanted to order lasagna, but by the time we got there at the ladder part of the evening, their portions have already been depleted. Can't wait to return for an earlier sitting and enjoy their lasagna.

This was a gem. Complimentary bread was warm, with crispy crust, served with a basalmic to dip. My table enjoyed the lasagna and chicken piccata. As my dish of choice anywhere, I must emphasize how delicious this picatta is - salty, lemony, full of garlic, tender and juicy chicken. Perfectly executed! Attentive, polite service. Note, the dining room is very tightly seated. I highly recommend a reservation (open table is my go-to) as many we're discouraged by the 45 minute wait quote given on a Friday evening peak!
Absolutely delicious food. Have been going to Shells and Sauce sporadically for years and the consistency and quality are still there. The crab cakes are phenomenal. Carbonara was delicious. Cannolis awesome. Everything is so full of flavor. 10/10 no notes.

I hate to take off a star since the food was very good, but it took 40 minutes from our order to when our food arrived. Two of our three entrees were cold. We ordered pasta and chicken, so nothing difficult. The table next to us arrived, ordered, ate and left before ours arrived. I understand things happen but there was no communication that there was any problem and only a very short unfelt apology.

In from out of town to visit my kids, I remembered really enjoying Shells and Sauce last summer - big garage doors open - al fresco dining inside. All the staff were warm and helpful then and this visit was the same. Food was excellent, might be a little on the louder side but it's got a nice vibe. Highly recommend.
