Went earlier in the week and couldn't stop thinking about how great the meal and service was. Had to come back. Only like a two day gap and it was imperative that I had another meal here. Highly recommend

Food was not great. It was busy and my whole party was not happy. My pasta dish wasn't drained enough the sauce was like soup. One portion of another dish was so small hardly any sauce. Veal was covered and fried in tons of breadcrumbs hardly any veal and hard and I overcooked. And another dish salty chicken also hard to cut. We would have said something but so busy and all of us were very disappointed felt like we all couldn't complaint. But should have. I read reviews and I be ok if just one of us were unhappy but all four and we were at a table where servers and customers had to walk by . It's tight and we had to keep moving in and out. Waste of money that we saved for this. A Big Disappointment!!! Sorry

I made reservations and when we got there while they had an open table it wasn't for us. I was floored. Here we were on time with reservations and they didn't honor them. The open table was for another person with reservations and when got there they took him right to the table without making him wait. This was our first time there and we went there as it was my husbands birthday. With the way they treated us I doubt I'll go back. It is a shame as they didn't even offer any apology for their screwup.

Me and my girlfriend went to Shells and Sauce before going to see a show in Denver and I was not disappointed in regard to the food and price. Our waitress was pretty busy which I understand completely, which caused us wait almost 10 minutes after we had already sat down before ordering drinks or appetizers. The drinks were absolutely delicious (I ordered the Pearfect Martini), and the food came out very quickly after ordering. The Bolognese was average at best but the Sweet Potato Shells in the “Stuffed Shells Duo” on the menu were to die for. If I am to return I would opt to just have all 4 shells have the sweet potato filling, as they were one of the most delicious things I've ever had. We finished our night off with the Crème Brûlée and it was the perfect portion for two. Overall I would like to return if in the area.
