Great, classic spot for dinner before a show at the Paramount Theatre. service was outstanding, food is upscale bar food and about a block from the theatre.

Amazing environment. Staff are friendly. Food is massively overpriced for what it is. The menu was really small. the bar is very slow. It takes forever to get any drink you ordered.

Ship Tavern is a classic restaurant/ bar in Denver!! A lovely setting to enjoy happy hour, dinner before an event or a nightcap after an event! The setting is lovely, service superb and delicious food. Delightful!! Will be back!!

Amazing prime rib as always. Crab cakes were delicious. The waiter was fantastic!!! He made a good night great. Drinks out in the atrium beforehand with live music was so much fun!

I'm very upset about the changes to the menu. This is an established restaurant. I've been coming since I was a small child. The French onion soup has never not been on the menu. I'd tell my aging mother but I fear she'd die. This is not welcome by patrons who have been coming for years. If the new chef wants to explore their creative license, find a new and up and coming restaurant to do that. This is the wrong establishment to put your spin on.

The Wagyu burger with the chorizo fondue and mushrooms was fantastic! It came out a perfect medium rare and I switched the regular fries for the sweet potato fries...yummy. Frank our waiter was so sweet and took great care of us and whe wine he suggested was wonderful. Thank you

I had the fish and chips and the fish was very good white flakey and tasty. My only thing is too many fries. If you have a larger appetite you will love it.hood value and great service.

We enjoyed shrimp & grits, the crab cake and charcuterie board. It was a delightful evening.

Overall the place is very tired and everyone there acts like it. The food was marginal. The service was attentive. The piano player was playing so loud and so poorly it distracted from any conversation you might try to have.

I have only been there once for an outing with co-workers from Wells Fargo, but we had a great time and still think about how generous my manager was for taking us places.

A very disappointing experience from past experiences. Ordered the lobster tator bites which were basically 98% tater. The clam chowder was so runny. We were told that the clam chowder was the end of the pot and they were making a fresh batch. The waiter said we wouldn't be charged for the clam chowder. The wine we ordered was good as was the cheesecake. Just wanted a light supper. Don't think I will come back here.

We had a great dinner. My husband loved the fish and chips but would have preferred more fish and less chips. My crab cake and Caesar salad were very nice. Our server Houston was very gracious. We were disappointed in the menu. Very limited compared to times past. Very noisy evening. Conference attendees? We were celebrating at the hotel for our anniversary. The whole experience (overnight room) just not the same. Kinda sad.

The architecture gives Ship Tavern its name - the triangular shape of a bow. The seafood does not. Clams steamed in beer are overcooked - sorry Chefs but clammy. The service of the irrepressible Hunter saved our visit as well as their pointed wine list - a wonderful young Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley. The prime rib sandwich was good. Overall, this place needs a flat bread item - it's not 1934, food preparations have advanced. It's great to be old but not out of culinary currentness. This menu needs attention.
