I don't typically leave reviews good or bad. I feel like when it's a bad experience it could have just been a bad day for the server or others. This particular Monday night at Skippys, I noticed that there seemed to be only one employee making drinks and running food. I observed that she seemed to be the only person handling the entire restaurant. She was calm, cool and professional In every aspect of the business. Aura is the most impressive younger person I've come across in a decade. I felt it necessary to post this in hope's that her employer recognizes her and that she continues with such humble confidence through all walks if life. As someone who is not impressed by the millenial generation Aura was inspiring. It's a great place, nice atmosphere and good food.

Im sad to say my husband and , I frequent this bar a lot more than we should. Needless to say Skippies has some of the best if not the best deals around. Aura , is my personal favorite waitress although all of the girls are lovely . There’s just something about the way Aura pours that beer 🍺 . They aren’t lying where they say “the coldest beer in town”

This place is ACES across the board!! First off Faith & Aura are the BEST Bartenders I've ever had, personable, entertaining, attentive & making sure everyone is having a great time! With the wall to wall TV's this is THE spot to watch all your NFL Action, which I'm glad football season is finally here! The Wings here are so delicious they are quite LITERALLY a lap dance for your taste buds, especially on Thursdays when they are $1 Dine-In Special! Plus the Southwestern Pot Stickers are so amazing that every other place that sells them has been ruined as they aren't even on the same level as Skippy's! If you are looking for cold beer, sports and entertainment, all compiled with the most EPIC Staff in town stop in to Skippy's!!!

Beware of Aura: Rude, Unprofessional, and a Total Bully Behind the Bar
I had a really disappointing experience at Skippy’s Sports Bar (off Iliff Ave. & Quebec St.) recently, and I feel compelled to share it.
I came in around 10 PM just to hang out with friends — I don’t even drink, I just ordered a water and some mac and cheese bites. Unfortunately, the bartender on duty, Aura, was extremely rude from the moment I interacted with her. When I told her the water tasted off and asked if I could get a new one, she told me flat-out that she didn’t care and refused to replace it. That was already surprising, but it got worse.
Aura then mocked me by imitating my laugh in a really negative and disrespectful way, all while giving me scathing looks. I was completely caught off guard — I wasn’t being rude or difficult, and I even asked her politely what I had done to upset her. Instead of explaining, she doubled down on the attitude and told me if I didn’t like it, I could leave.
This all happened in front of other patrons, and it was humiliating. I left feeling confused, embarrassed, and honestly pretty upset. I live nearby and was hoping this could be a regular hangout spot, but this experience makes me seriously reconsider coming back.
I would really appreciate the opportunity to speak with management about what happened. No one deserves to be treated like that — especially when they’re just trying to enjoy a night out with friends.

We saw the person waiting on our table, The general manager. Mind you, Maybe three or four times. Enough to refill drinks and bring food and the check that was it. The food took an absolutely ridiculous amount of time to get to us, wasn't very good at all, and frankly the service sucked. This was not something that would be expected on a special service night. It was like she was the only one waiting tables. All we ordered was chicken wings and sauce. It doesn't take all that long to cook them and sauce them. Like we were completely forgotten about. We even had to ask for the check. I will not be returning.
