Wow! What a great night. This bar came highly recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint! The bartender made me one of the best margaritas I have ever had, and the dj booth was on point. You can hang outside on the back patio- play pool and arcade games or just chill in the lounge area. Great vibes and fun people. We will definitely be back!! I guess on Wednesdays there is a cool food truck in the backyard and Friday is the sexy smoke lady- forget her name… Great night in Denver- Thank you Heartbreak Kid. ♥️

This happened while it was still called Slashers. Not sure if they got new management or something with the name change but wanted to express this anyway.Owner/manager would rather sit on the couch on the other side of the bar and hit on any woman that walks in than do anything short of work. Tried to hit on my girlfriend and when I called him out he kicked me out and banned me from the bar. Don’t go here.

This heartbreak after losing what made Slashers great is the only honest thing left about whatever Heartbreak Kid is. Trash bar.

While this isn't the horror themed bar we were expecting, it's amazing nonetheless. The vibe is more older emo/millenial. The place is dark with curtains, bottles, skulls, and other assorted knick knacks illuminated by candles. I loved how all the TV's are playing everyone's favorite movies from the 80s and 90s. There's also a hidden arcade in the back with some great posters and a white claw machine. The staff is very kind and make some fantastic drinks. We got the unicorn magic fizz, and I'm still thinking about how cute it was. Can't wait to come here again!

Came here from out of town and had the best time. Music was great and the bartenders put on Heavy Metal. I think the locals a little salty

January 2023 this bar was rad. Went at the end of August 2023 and it had significantly declined. The drink menu was tiny and not good at all. The only good drink was the bees knees. Gin based with a strawberry puree. Went back tonight (new years day 2024) at closer to 5:30 pm and they were closed. No sign saying they opened later. No Instagram or Facebook post saying they opened later. Just 3 people inside motioning that they were closed. Slashers is not worth going to at this point. The movies and atmosphere are cool but the lack luster menu isn't worth the price. Hard pass.

This is no longer the Slashers bar I fell in love with. It's completely different so much so that they should consider changing their name. The vibe was completely different and totally sucked. The bartenders were whatever and not friendly like the old crew. All the cool spooky horror decor was gone and replaced with silly boudoir items and lights and curtains. Everthing was super spaced out and just plain weird. The music was awful. I'm not coming to a so-called horror bar to listen to gangster rap. Only 1 tv was playing a horror movie.. Everything about this remodel sucked. I used to be a regular here and loved how different this place was compared to other bars, but I'm sorry to say I'm done with this place. Never coming back and neither is my regular crew. RIP Slashers. :(
