Not sure how you get away with calling your burgers “smash burgers”. There is literally a burger chain a couple blocks away that is called Smashburger. 1 star just for principle alone.

The beer was awesome, the food was amazing, and the 1 bartender did her best to serve 30 people at once. The place is well worth it, but it was hard to compete for attention when there is only one server doing everything, even if that server can do the work of 3.

Went in because it was "Smash Face Brewing." But they don't brew beer. False advertising. Beer was fine (but made by Oskar Blues).

After grabbing a couple slices from Sliceworks, I decided that I needed to wash down the pizza pie with a new to me brewery: enter Smash Face Brewing. SPACE: Smash Face Brewing has a great vibe! First and most important, they feature a dog-friendly patio out front. Upon entering you are greeted with a variety of community seating, couches, games, and the cutest wallpaper/pictures you ever did see. Did I mention it's close to Coors Field for all your game-day boozing needs? Yeah, it is. SIPS: I love visiting local breweries and checking out their unique taprooms while sipping their brews. After browsing the tap list, I was disappointed to find that they had very few of their own brews - four to be exact. Their house-brewed potions include: two IPAs, a lager, and a pilsner. Given that I have a Boston Terrier, I had to sip on the American Gentleman West Coast IPA. It was a decent brew, very traditional in flavor. They do feature a full bar for those that are seeking something a little stronger. SUSTENANCE: While I didn't sample any of the bites during my visit, I was happy to see that they offer a full menu. So if you show up hungry, don't worry! SERVICE: I was one of two people there during my visit. While the bartender was nice, she never checked back with me to see if I wanted another pour or needed anything else. Kinda disappointing. I can say I really like the concept, and something dog-friendly is definitely a great addition to this area, but Smash Face Brewing was just "okay" in my beer-loving book. Cheers, Denver!

plenty of table space, LOTS of borrow-able board games!!, great apps, 2 really nice comfy lounge areas with sofas [3 full size sofas total; 2 in one area just inside, between the front door and the bar and one in a much more secluded area just off yo the right when you first walk in [go all the way to the wall, then look right... can't miss it]very nice staff, super quiet and PERFECT for our work happy hour (about 15 people)

Smash face is a nice little place to grab a drink and bite to eat. I enjoyed the burger as they really did give it a good smash style grilling and the beer selection was tasty as well. Additionally they were not super busy in off hours and I could see dropping in for happy hour etc.

Yep. This place is good. First the service. Excellent. Got drinks fast and took care of our requests for sports on TV. They play volume for big games. This is a huge plus for us. Beer selection is very good. Now let's talk about the burgers. Top shelf burger. All the taste and perfect toppings. We will be back.

We had such a good time watching Monday night football at Smash Face. Great customer service as two very friendly bar tenders helped our large party. The food was delicious and they had some very creative spins on French fries. Pizza fries and Dog E fries were a hit with the whole crowd and don't forget to try the amazing Brussels sprouts! Great mixed cocktails and beers on tap! Will definitely be back!

This is one of my top breweries and overall places to go in downtown Denver. Great food, great happy hour, great service. If you’re going out for a Rockies game, out for the night, or taking the train TF outta dodge, this is the place to start. If you’re doing none of those things, their dog friendly patio is a perfect place to post up and play a game with friends.
Vibe is cool, but agree the place is understaffed, drinks were good and ambience is nice, great location and lots of board games available to play.. had a good time.

Love Smash Face, I come here every week. Was really disappointed to find out that they changed up their whole tap list. From getting rid of their own beers and getting rid of the spiked seltzer, I don't know what ownership is thinking. Great service and staff, they are always the highlight of the place.

This is the best place in LoDo. The beer is top notch and the staff is beyond friendly and personable. They have great food and a friendly atmosphere !!Edit: I still love this place and come here weekly but this week I found that they changed their entire food and beer list and even got rid of most of their own crafted beer including my favorite one! Still love the staff and the service but disappointed in these changes. Hoping they go back to their old ways because it was nice to have a quality spot right down town

You know how you're visiting a really awesome city and can't wait to try local breweries? Well, you know there's a problem when you're sitting at the brewery and the waitress is so disengaged, zero eye contact and rude and we just sit here looking at Yelp to go to a different restaurant. This place was a huge disappointment. But again good beers but service was shitty and the only food we got to try were the brussel sprouts and they weren't good at all! This brewery was the exact same experience last night at Wynkoop. How does this town operate? No clue... and it wasn't busy AT ALL!
