I'm giving it 5 stars because I think it is one of best BBQ spot in Denver. What I liked the most was the variety of options on the menu. They got tacos, quesadillas, and other creative menu items.
The burnt ends were a bit dry but I still liked the flavor. I came after a while and ordered two portions of burnt ends and were very different with much lesser crust, something I did not enjoy.
The quesadillas were tasty and the portion was big. Cream corn had a touch of heat but was nice. The place was also spacious, with plenty of tables and seats. Overall I recommend this place.

I've been coming here for years! The ribs and wings are my favorite; always falls off the bone, with a beautiful smoky flavor. The hot chicken sandwich is also fantastic. The spice adds flavor without it melting your face off, the chicken is always crispy, and the house made pickles add a touch of sweetness. Keep an eye out for their specials, too! The chimichangas are TOP TIER.

Had to have chopped link on my brisket sandwich. Damn this was good. The sandwich had pieces of lean and fatty brisket on it and the rendered fat on the meat was 🤤. Mac and cheese was good. My only complaint was that I like my food a tad more warm. We came on a Friday for lunch and beat the rush by showing up around 11am. Parking stinks at Source is my only complaint. $10/hr is a bit ridiculous but the bbq was ridiculously good so, I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Smok, you won my heart.

We wanted a quickbite. We ordered the sample player and added burnt ends. This is nothing near Texas or Florida bbq. I don't know if they over cooked the meat or didn't let it sit or rest properly. All the meat was dry. The platter came with brisket, a pork rib, chicken quarter, and a slice of bread. The burnt ends were like chewing leather. The brisket was not juicy at all. The rib was was half overcooked on one side. The chicken was a little overdone. The Mac and cheese was ok. The bbq was well seasoned good flavors but the meat was dry and I had to use a lot of sauce to rehydrate it. We ordered at the counter then sat at the bar. We did have good bar service and the line staff were friendly.

I stopped by for a late lunch found there was nobody in line and the service was quick and prompt and friendly. The plate was served generously and looked great. I had the brisket, pork belly and the pulled pork. I had a side of potato salad with bacon bits.. Barbecue sauces were Limited in options, one of the best being a green hot sauce. Everything Was average. I wish there was more flavor to the bark of the brisket and the pulled pork. We all know if you’re into barbecue that brisket goes to the cutting board to die. My second picture reflect the quality of the brisket after 15-20 minutes unfortunately was just dry. I’ve heard a lot of great stuff and I’m willing to give this place another try as a self-professed barbecue connoisseur I want to really like this place. Wanted a little more wow, Especially since my bill was around $55 plus tip! At that rate, we expect some pretty phenomenal barbecue.

We’re from Texas so we had to try this spot and it did not disappoint. The brisket and jalapeño sausage were amazing and on par with anything we’ve had in the Lone Star State. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is great. If you’re in Denver, this is a must-try restaurant.

Alright, I really enjoy barbecue normally and look forward to getting it. I have leniency for bbq, but this place misses badly.

Got brisket, since that's a great way to measure how good a place is. Mine was supremely dry even though I got the fatty/moist serving. I had to drown it in sauce to even get it down. Decent smoke flavor, terrible cook. Easily the worst brisket I've ever had.

Sauces were fine, nothing special.

Had gingercoleslaw as a side. Way too much mayo, very little flavor.

Girlfriend got pulled pork and beans as a side. The pork was passable. At least it wasn't as dry as the brisket. The beans were pretty good, just thick like a paste.

This place is not worth what they charge and I will not be going back here again. I've been to at least 15 places around the metro that I like better. Eat at the other restaurants in The Source before you consider this place.

The ribs were tasty, the brisket was incredibly soft, but not as tasty, and the chicken was skippable.

When I got here the line was almost to the front door. When I finally got my food there were only 3 people in line, wish I would have waited. I got the pork sandwich, which was their special of the day, and a half pound of ribs. The best thing about my meal was the brioche bun that the sandwich was on.

The meats are great, especially the burnt ends. The sides are delicious and enough for two people. Unfortunately though they don't have happy hour specials anymore.
