So Damn Gouda Cheese + Provisions

The review is mainly due to poor customer service from the woman behind the counter. I came in to order a sandwich with one person in front of me, she asked if I could wait ~10 minutes for her to finish with him and I said that was fine. It ended up being more like 15 for her to wrap up with him, in the meantime, another customer had arrived and also ordered a sandwich. The employee then ended up feeding various cheese samples to a woman and her children who walked in 15 minutes after me. While ignoring ignoring the order from myself and another customer who ordered a sandwich after me. After ~10 more minutes of this, I left. Way to ignore customers for 20+ minutes and allow entitled people to jump ahead in the order line. I won't be back any time that woman is working there. EDITED: for clarity/remove typos.

Born and raised in NY, finding this wonderful place has me not missing home so much. From the staff to the selection I’m hooked. Went in for some Iberico ham and left with a few extra things. Great atmosphere, easy to order, pleasant conversation with staff and the store layout is easy to handle for me after a long shift at the hospital. Thank you for welcoming me in and I can’t wait to return!!

Good local cheese, wine, and cured meats shop with plenty of accessory foods to enjoy.

First time in looking for a charcuterie board and bought a large cheese box instead. It had 3 kinds of delicious cheese, nuts, olives, cornichons, dried fruit, jam and crostinis. Why have I not come here before?? All was delicious and a lovely combination. The fellow behind the counter was very pleasant too. I highly recommend and will be back.

My husband and I came into the shop today to grab a few cheeses for a small board. The man working (I wish I got his name!) selected the cheese for us after we explained the flavors and textures we were interested in. He absolutely crushed the cheese selection. We loved every option he chose and each were unique and delicious.

This will be our go-to cheese shop from now on!

Exceptional place for a cheese/meat board. I have purchased a handful of times and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Selection of meats and cheeses is incredible.

Absolutely love So Damn Gouda for special occasion platters or grabbing a few cheeses. Unique items in the shop and always so darn tasty.

I’ve been a cheese club member for years now. Look into their monthly membership - its 3 cheeses and then a jam or butter of some sort with always a great write up or the history of the cheese, maker, and how to eat it or what to pair it with. In general though, these guys are great. I never know what to get if it’s not cheese box day, and they are so knowledgeable and always come up with a great variety for me.

Some of the best Brie I’ve ever had!! We received a box as a gift, but I’m going to start going there myself! Wine jam was amazing along with their cheeses. Highly recommend. Delivery drive was also nice. Thank you!!

A legit eclectic/niche little shop that specializes in cheeses from around the world. The owner happened to be behind the counter and was able to have a nice conversation about Greek and also Spanish cheeses. I forgot to take pictures when I was there and I only have one photo of a snack that I picked up from there so I can have something to eat the airport (on my way back to Dallas). I will def be back!
