We’ve been wanting to come here for a while and finally tried it out and wow!! We wish we had known sooner how great it is sooner. We had the appetizer platter - that was delicious. The atmosphere is really relaxing. There is also outdoor seating (not a lot). Parking can be difficult on busy nights because it has a tiny parking lot. But don’t let that stop you!
We have been getting takeout here for awhile and have always really enjoyed it. The naan is flavorful and fresh. We always get the korma and love it. Mango lassi is always great and they serve it to us in compostable cups, which is awesome because we compost at home through the city of Denver and appreciate the opportunity to reduce our plastic waste. I always have a second meal too! Just overall a thoughtful and high quality establishment.
This may be the best overall experience with Indian Food I have had.The place was highly recommend by friends of mine.Dinned in for lunch. All staff was amazingly nice and helpful. They have tons of gluten free and vegan options. You could even modify many dishes to be dairy free.We had samosas, the spice room kati roll with chicken, and dairy free chicken masala. All were outstanding. The food seemed really fresh. The chicken was fork tender and all the spices were amazing and not overly salted. We left completely satisfied.Even though we live across town near Aurora we will definitely be coming back.
Very pleasant atmosphere. I liked the food here. They serve excellent biryani and momos. Best one I ever tried. The food is full of flavour and the service at the restaurant is pretty good.
I loved the starters and the twisted drink, but the main course was horrible. We started with Dumpling Soup, Fried Chicken Momos, and Chicken Malai Tikka. Dumplings were good soup was okayish, momos were delicious, and malai tikkas were juicy and tender. Loved the Spiked Mango Lassi (Mango Lassi with Rum). For the main course, we ordered Chicken Biryani, Chicken Rogan Josh, and Garlic Naan. They served pulav in the name of biryani; we just had one bite and couldn't eat the rest. Rogan Josh was inedible too. Too much pepper and watery gravy. They seriously need to work on their main course preparations. The staff was lovely and kept check on things; as a result, The service was terrific.
Awesome Indian Joint in Denver. We found them on the top 10 Indian foodie list. This place is a diamond in the rough, located in a small shopping center, not in the best part of town of the Highlands. Only minor complaint is that there wasn't too much parking available. We were surprised to see almost all tables taken up by 6 pm and a constant flow of take out orders. Since we love take out we ordered more than what we could eat. (See pic) All dishes were amazing and cooked with love! Especially the Vindaloo and Tikka Masala. Meat was tender and flavor was top notch. Will definitely be back!
Chicken pathia with rice is a must try. Really good curry. But the chicken seemed to be over cooked a bit. Fantastic curry. Should have with rice.
My new favorite spot for Indian cuisine! I've been 4-5 times now and the food is always phenomenal. The staff is wonderful! And there are a ton of options on the menu for dietary restrictions or preferences :)
All I have to say about this place is WOW! Well done at executing authentic Indian food that We will most definitely be back for! The curries were so rich, delicious and heartwarming. The rice was perfect and the potato and garlic naan were both out of this world! I had plenty of food for seconds later and was satisfyingly full. The lemon tea that they have was a nice touch even on a hot summer day. It was very soothing. Thank you for your great hospitality, we will be back (:
BEST Indian food in Denver - Coming from someone that’s Indian. I’ve tried all of the other Indian restaurants and none of them can compare to Spice Room. Spice Room prepares true traditional Indian food. Perfect portion sizes. Perfect flavor. I’ll never go anywhere else
the best indian food! my boyfriend is Indian and this is the only place we go to now. I enjoy everything but especially the Roti, Chai, and Aloo Gobi.
This place has the world's worst pani puri ever! It was so unbelievably terrible, the chef has no idea how to make chat! and the sev on the aloo tiki was definitely old! And the chef has no idea how to cook Masala into the food, seems like he's just adding it at the end. Definitely would not recommend this place. How can one mess up pani for Puri!! It is the simplest thing that one can make!
I had ordered togo from Spice Room throughout the pandemic and finally had the opportunity to dine in for my Mom's birthday the other day. Great atmosphere and fantastic service, but the main point, amazing food. Forewarning, I'm a heat lover, so I forget sometimes when ordering with other people, I'll order most things hot, but there's something about the saag that just magnifies the heat, so I'll always spice level down. The masala lemonade was recommended by a friend, and did not disappoint, it was so refreshing. Anything with lamb, the samosas and honey chicken were all a hit at our celebratory dinner. We also tried most of the desserts and I wish I had a favorite to recommend, but I can only say try them all. Also, I love ordering the big containers of their mint chutney or tamarind sauce, I eat them on everything.
Super yummy Indian spot in Denver!! I had the tofu saag and vindaloo vegetables!! And vege samosas!! Definitely recommend if you are in Denver and craving Indian!
This place is excellent!Living up to it's namesake; dishes are flavorful and spicy. We ordered everything medium and truth be told it was too spicy to enjoy until the food cooled off a bit. After that, everything was delicious.I would suggest ordering mild for dine in and medium for takeout/delivery, depending how spicy you like it.Also the mushrooms are INSANE, I could eat them all day.Staff is friendly and attentive, and the owner was kind and welcoming. Will definitely be returning!
