Went back to my old neighborhood for nostalgia and had the best time hanging out at The Spot! My bartender Jacqui is exceptional - so attentive, welcoming, and overall cool person to chat to. Not to mention she makes a delicious cocktail :) It got pretty busy while I was there and she still made an effort to connect and make sure those of us who had been there pre-rush were taken care of. Will be coming back here with friends

The Spot is amazing! Full of friendly locals, totally chill atmosphere, and great music. The bartender who served me, Christian, could not have been more welcoming and kind. Delish pinot grigio, as well. Best pub in the area!

Great dive bar for some pints, sports, or to hangout outside and drink in the summer! The food is mediocre, but that’s not why we go. Walk here regularly in the summer for a pint, quick burger, and a game. Owner also responded to my comment which you love to see that they care!

I agree with the latest comment. There’s something up with the service. I’ve lived in the area for a few years now and have given this place more chances than I can count to get it right.
They recently changed the menu increasing prices and keeping quality the same (if not worse).
The guy next to me ordered a chicken sandwich and it looked amazing. I ordered the same one and noticed how the chef making the food switched to a different person. He literally cut the chicken after frying it to fit the size of the bun. Looked different than the sandwich the other guy ordered :(
Idk what’s up with this place but at this point I don’t expect to get good service. Maybe I’m blacklisted or something but I’m always respectful to everyone and try to bring positive vibes wherever I go. I’m not a person of color and will no longer support this place. Enough is enough.

Food decent atmosphere is decent. But service quality is greatly lacking. At least for me when I go there with friends. Been over a handful of times as I live close and my girl enjoys it. I’m not saying any one is actually racist but I do feel a shift of energy when it comes to my service.
Being left without a waiter for over 20 min to take my order while I watch them repeatedly check on other guests as we sit there looking at them to try to let them know we’ve been ready for 20 min.
Constantly asked for my id when I’ve already showed the person taking my order. Why would you ask if you’re not my waiter and I already showed my waiter.
Ordering online just to show up at the pic up time and they haven’t even started yet so have to wait another 20-30 min for our food.
Greatly understaffed
And just overall feel a little singled out as the only person of color in there usually when I’m there and notice everyone having a good time but then when they come to my table the energy shifts a lil. I try to be kind and pull it back but i just at this point don’t feel welcomed as there’s always something when I go. Again not sayin anyone is racist or discriminatory! I’m just saying I personally don’t feel welcomed.
Decent place tho if you don’t mind the service. Not saying don’t check it out it might be nice for you. But for me I dread it. And will never be back or support this place at all.

The Spot hit the Spot for us with its holiday old fashioned and mountainous nachos! The vibe was relaxed and service was prompt and friendly. Fair prices for Denver, and in a great neighborhood.
Our waitress was extremely rude. We were a party of 10, asked for water, (along with rounds of drinks and food) she said sure. Didn’t bring any so reminded her. She told us we can get it from the water station. After here for an hour a strobe light in the corner started flashing with a heater being turned on (after freezing for an hour). Honestly some of the worst service I’ve had in a year. The pickles were good. Marg and sangria was disgusting. Get beer :)

What a great spot! We stopped by because we live near. We enjoyed the list of cocktails posted above the bar. They have a few specials like $5 wings after 10pm. They have TVs and a small selection of card games for use. We also felt the service was great! Most establishments like this, if you're only drinking and not ordering food, I'm used to having to get up and order at the bar and having minimal service. However the bartender came around often and asked how we were. Can't wait to try the food!
