My husband and I went to this location this morning on Veteranās Day after seeing online that Starbucks was doing a free coffee for veteranās today. We went through the drive thru and my husband asked what deal they were doing for Veteranās day. The woman working said āIām sorry?ā So my husband asked again, a little louder. She then said āI donāt understand the words youāre sayingā. After the third time she said āStarbucks doesnāt participate in Veteranās Day.ā It does say āparticipating locationsā online but Starbucks is all over Google when you search what chains are participating today so it was a fair question and she made it sound like a blanket statement for all locations. It was just a really weird interaction and Iām not sure if it was a lack of training or what. We would also never expect anything free and were planning on ordering another drink for me but ended up leaving because it left a bad taste in our mouths.
