The ham and cheese croissant was delicious, even though served at room temperature. My chai latte was tasty, but lukewarm with too much froth.
The staff was friendly and interactive, not sullen and standoffish like so many places, so that made up for the food and drink teps.steps.
We sat in the back garden area, which was great on a HOT morning. I'll add pictures next time.

Great coffee! I got an oat mild cappuccino and flavor was excellent! Great vibes with indoor and outdoor seating options. I was visiting from out of town for a few days and came here every day of my trip for my morning coffee.

A very friendly place! Great coffee, too. Many choices for seating indoors and 2 outdoor patios. Lots of foliage and an airplane fuselage (go figure).

Insanely long wait, 40 minutes between the four person line and waiting for one drink. Croissant was not at all flakey and what else is the point of a croissant?

I came in running on maybe 3 hours of sleep, absolutely exhausted. After placing my coffee order, I realized I forgot to ask for alternative milk. I asked after paying, and both the cashier and Livie (I hope I got that right!) were so kind and took care of it without hesitation.

But that’s not why this place gets 5 stars.

It was Livie’s kindness and empathy that made my morning. When I went to grab my coffee, she looked at me and said, ā€œGood luck today.ā€ I replied, ā€œThanks! I’m going to need it,ā€ and without skipping a beat, she said, ā€œI believe in you.ā€

That small interaction meant more than she probably knows. It’s been a rough few weeks, and I’ve felt really down, but her words gave me a little push I didn’t even know I needed. Thank you, Livie. šŸ’›

Very limited latte syrup flavors which is why I’m giving 3 stars overall. But the atmosphere was great and I could definitely see myself hanging out there if I lived nearby. Even had nice shaded outdoor seating. I also loved that they had a water tap inside to refill my water bottle.

Rude and unfriendly staff.

I love the coffee at Steam, but I can’t go because the service is so painfully slow and bad. The baristas are polite enough, but if there is more than one person in front of you in line, you will be waiting a loooong time. I used to come here with run club, but we can’t come anymore because we spend the entire time waiting in line and then waiting for our coffees. I really believe getting drinks out faster is doable because other shops in the area with one machine don’t have this problem (Roast, Wash Perk, etc), so I would LOVE to see Steam work on this.

One of the BEST Latte’s I have ever had! Absolutely loved this place. They must be using a high quality espresso bean. The ordering process was easy and the place had a good vibe. Also, ordered a scone and a pumpkin muffin which were both delicious. My group sat at the coffee car and enjoyed watching the staff make juice. Next, visit I will be sure to give it a try!
