The vibe was great as always and the service very good also. Our only gripe was the portion of fried chicken on the chicken sandwich was pretty weak. If it was twice as big it would've been approaching appropriate size. The dryness overshadowed the good taste.

The Christmas pop-up bar was wonderfully decorated - very festive! It was a bit too drafty where we were seated so we asked to move into the restaurant. The host was more than happy to accommodate our request. The Steubie Snacks were great! Very unexpected (fried pork bites rolled in powdered sugar, served with a chili garlic aioli). I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup - the soup was more like a thick sauce, but still good. My friend had the lobster roll and said it was very good. Love the atmosphere at Steubens - very old-school, kitschy, diner vibe - lots of good comfort food to choose from. The drinks were delicious as well, with lots of variety from beer and wine to specialty cocktails and adult shakes.

This year was the first time we ordered our Thanksgiving meal & we were not disappointed - everything was so good!!!

The pick up for my Thanksgiving dinner was smooth and easy. The line was short and the atmosphere was friendly. Everything was great.

The host was bordering on rude. I arrived at 6:43 for a 7pm reservation and checked in. He said You're here way early so you can wait out there or over there! So at 7:01 I went back to the host and our table was ready but nobody came to tell us. We did get seated at that point. The server was very good and couldn't help that another table near us that was seated 20 minutes after us were already eating and we had heard nothing about our orders. We were a table of 5 so not an extraordinary large group. The food came and was very good. But the overall experience was not good.

Took 25 minutes for first drink order and 55 minutes before food hit the table. It was not overly crowded. Fried chicken was extremely overcooked and dry. Rest of food was just mediocre. This used to be a great place to go but has gone downhill over the years. Probably will never return.

Absolutely stellar food and service as always. We had the Nashville hot chicken, biscuit bites, and pot roast. Delicious! Highly recommend.

Great food (lobster roll, clam chowder, creative sandwiches) with excellent wait staff and class ic Denver ambience.

This was a great breakfast restaurant that we hadn't tried before. Loved the menu, prices great and food good will try this place again.

My order of biscuit and gravy was mistakenly covered in clam chowder and the biscuit was dry and hard. Just not good. My friends burger had a very burned bun and when she asked for a new bun the brought out a new one but it was covered in sauce and pickles. Just an overall off experience. Normally we love this place!

The experience at Steuben's on 10/25 was less than stellar. The service was great and I basically have no issues with the waitstaff and other workers at the restaurant. However, apparently they are going through a menu change and many of the items we originally ordered were not available (e.g., cocktails, Monte Cristo, cookies, ice cream sandwiches). It was 7:30 on a Saturday night. There is absolutely no reason for a longstanding restaurant such as this to be out of that many menu items on a weekend. All of these missing menu items we didn't find out until after the order had been placed. I had to switch from a Monte Cristo (there was only one left and I let my partner have it) to the Mac n cheese. The last time I came to Steuben's, the Mac n cheese was cold. I should have sent it back (and never returned to the restaurant), but I wanted to give it one more shot. I added fried chicken nuggets to the meal and that alone added an uncharge of $9. The dish had zero flavor to it, even pepper couldn't help. And the nuggets were overcooked and chewy. The entire Mac n cheese meal was $24.50. That's outrageous. To top it off, the butterscotch pudding was like water because it was so runny. Disgusting. I didn't even order a cocktail or appetizer and my bill alone out of our party of 5 was $52 with tax/tip...for food that had little flavor. Add all of these things together and I'm done. This is the third time in a row that I've had issues at Steuben's. I don't know if they're coasting along because they're a Denver institution. But the emptiness of the restaurant on a Saturday night by 8:30 tells me other people aren't interested in eating there either. They better step it up before they end up shutting down. In my view, no great loss if they do. Either way, I won't be back.

Just as I remember last being here 10 years ago. Great for families, good cocktail selection for adults and all reasonable prices. Can't wait to come back again.

great server and food-too many at our table but they were great---don't like 6 people but adore Steubens

Highly recommend ordering the chicken schnitzel, challah French toast, and breakfast shot during brunch! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, however, the heated patio had a faint smell of garbage. Definitely will come back for the delicious food, but will sit inside.

Disappointing. We used to eat here a lot and always like it. This time my cubano sandwich was super salty. Hubby got the beef pot pie which sounded delicious but the puff pastry top was mushy and the beef short rib meat was fatty and chewy to the point of being inedible. Service was very nice.
