Go here! The food is absolutely great! Definitely better than most, in a space with a nice vibe. The ROASTED BRUSSELS are the best we've ever had. The VANILLA SHAKE comes with extra on the side in a frosty silver mixing cup. A super flaky and unique pastry tops the POT PIE over a delicious savory filling. The GREEK SALAD is totally fresh. Plentiful servings all around from the nicely varied MENU to satisfy all tastes & preferences. And the SERVICE is phenomenal! We had ANTHONY - clearly a top pro waiter. Totally attentive, kind, accommodating, fast and unobtrusive. Quintessential Capitol Hill at its best!

I've always liked Steubens. The mid-mod atmosphere is uncommon, but a very welcome change from typical eateries. Honestly, it's what makes this restaurant cool for a date night or to bring a family member or friend. The service is excellent and food is tasty. However, their prices have really gone out of control. The food is mostly comfort food, but priced much higher than it perhaps should. I mean, a Reuben sandwich for $19 without any sides?? I can afford it, but my visiting again will likely drop significantly mostly out of principle. Don't overprice your base. There are other options worth checking out.
Good diner vibe on 17th street food row!! Got a nice seat. Deviled eggs are the best. Cobb salad is good. Mashed potatoes are real and gravy is good. Try this diner like comfort spot. Dakota, our server was very good.
This place is a hidden gem! I enjoyed clam chowder in a bread bowl- my husband had the crunch burger. His only recommendation, change the bread used. Maybe a sourdough or just don’t season it? Either way- still good. We also ordered bread pudding and OMGoodness! Delicious! Next time I want to come back for a cocktail and dessert.

If you have another plans take it. Better other places than this, old school cafeteria with no taste. the waiter/bartender didn't heard the order... they bring me what he heard. the beer ok... the food not.

I no longer live in Denver, but when I visit I always try to get to Steubens! Went with my dad, had the Fish and Chips and a cup of Green Chile. Both were hot fresh and delicious. My dad had a Philly Cheese Steak that he also loved. Prices are decent and the drinks are good!

Food here always hits the spot. I got the fried chicken which came out piping hot and delicious. I just wished the mashed potatoes, gravy and biscuit were just as hot. They were all delicious but the temperature was barely above room temp.
Don't get the roast beef. I sent mine back and the second plate was equally as tough with congealed fat. Couldn't even cut it. Service and wait staff were awesome. Extremely cold night and cold air was blowing from the vent above our table, we kept our coats on.
An awesome experience. I always love finding great hidden gems and this is definitely one

I love this place! Great atmosphere, good food (some portions were a bit small for the price), honored my reservation even though construction traffic made us late. Didn't do anything to fulfill my request for something special for my special occasion, though :(
