We hadn't been to SSS for a couple years but always enjoyed it. This experience was very disappointing. The food was fine, the service was horrible. With a party of 8 and a 20% tip added plus a 4% back of house tip, you should receive excellent service. Paying 24% for poor service is unacceptable. Stopped by early Friday evening before attending a show and the restaurant was already buzzing. Ended up setting at bar due to limited tables because of large event, but turned out to be the best experience! Great place to eat before going to a concert at the DCPA. They get very busy before events at the DCPA so we would recommend reservations even if you are going early. We arrived at 5:30 and the place was already very busy. By 6:00 it was completely packed. Our server was very efficient and courteous. Our food was ready in just a few minutes. Food and drinks were good and would return in the future.
