This place is incredible! My partner and I had our most memorable meal in Denver here. We ordered the japanese asa-gohan and the oyako-don. Both were so good - both light but filling. I could eat here every day! We also got coffees, and pastries (scone and fruit toast), all was fantastic.
The owners are also very kind and you can tell they take pride in their restaurant. Not only that, but the space is a really cool. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Each bite was incredible! The seaaonal peach waffle is possibly the best waffle in this dimension. Scram sammy was light but very flavorful. Pop Rocks on a cherry lime donut was an unexpected and delicious pairing. The staff were polite, fast, and responsive. Also, I love they take reservations so we had no wait on a Sunday.

Recommendations online: to show early, donuts sell out. I arrived a few minutes before they opened and was the first customer and the staff said it would 45mins to an hour before the donuts were ready. I made a special trip just for the “Sunday donuts” on the way out of town and don’t have 45 mins to wait.
What establishment opens at 8am and doesn’t even have the baked goods ready to sell at time of open?
Also pets not welcomed on patio area
Everyone working was so kind. Our food was soooo scrumptious! We got the scram sandwich, sourdough waffle with peaches, and the salmon bowl (Iforget the actual name of it sorry). I could eat that salmon bowl everyday for lunch, it was so fresh and filling. I also got an iced latte that I would rate a 3.75 stars. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the Denver area!

Worth the wait every time. The staff is so welcoming, even when overwhelmed with demand, and gives genuine recommendations.
I order the coffee cake every visit and will not share with others.
The Colorful Colorado and the Japanese asa-gohan are incredible dishes.
Make a reservation to make things easier for everyone.

Fun and creative menu with lots of gluten free options. The server asked about food allergies when we ordered- love! Good coffee and they give one free refill- also love. The staff were also super friendly. Would recommend!

This was the best unplanned breakfast we had in Denver! We stumbled across Stowaway while looking for breakfast on a Monday morning and damn am I happy we stopped in. The place is super cute with a semi-shaded outdoor patio and large open doors so you can sit inside and get the best of both worlds.
The servers were immediately welcoming, the coffee was excellent and it just got better from there as our food arrived. We got the breakfast (Scram) sandwich with ham and avocado and the oyako-don which was so delicious and flavorful! If you’re in town definitely stop in for breakfast—it is worth it!

Unfortunately did not get to eat here after being turned away with over an hour still left before closing the host said there were no tables available. There were multiple tables open inside and outside with no one waiting. Menu looked good just wish I was able to try the food. Probably won’t return after the poor experience.

Our hippie son wanted to come here on our last day in CO. The vibe is Denver funky. The four of us were sat quickly and drinks were ordered. I don't remember what all we ordered but it was really good. The coffee was delicious.

I’ve had this on my list for a while and will return. The menu had a ton of really compelling dishes but I got the waffle which was really excellently balanced. Sweet, tart, crispy and chewy. Just a really beautifully composed dish. It’s not cheap but I can see why. I’m excited to come back and try numerous other items that look great.
