My hubs, daughter and I ate at sushi sasa after a fun trip to the Denver aquarium (watching all those fish made us hungry for fish!). We loved the sushi here. The highlight was the strawberry shortcake sushi- so unique and outstanding! Fabulous cocktails, loved the lychee martini.
Very fresh fish - tasted how sushi should taste. Slightly expensive but worth the cost due to the high quality. Great service. Booth was a bit uncomfortable. Very pleasant experience. The temaki was good, but the fresh crisp of the nori was lacking, not a deal breaker by any means as the portion was large. Nigiri and sashimi was top notch. Miso soup was a perfect blend of miso and dashi. House salad dressing was refreshing, crisp, and accompanied the meal with elegance. Overall...

We've had a few different rolls & while they aren't our favorite, everything else has exceeded our expectations. The sashimi is absolutely incredible, especially the various Tuna & Yellowtail options are like butter - just melts in your mouth.
Highly recommend for a date night for anyone...
