Swanky's Vittles and Libations

A quaint Wisconsin bar with delicious food and adult slushies. I've had the cheese curds, and mac and cheese. Both very excellent and filling. I've had most of the adult slushies with The Big Lebowski being the signature. I tend to add a shot of Jagermeister to enhance the flavor even more.

Met a friend for his pre birthday celebration drinks at Swanky's Vittles & Libations. Glad we stayed for a bite to eat, they delivered on flavor and comfort food cravings. The Rajun Cajun burger was flavorful and cooked perfectly, with a nice medium amount of heat, could have been a little spicier for us. The wings were a standout--crispy, juicy, and with garlic Parmesan and buffalo sauces, giving the best of both worlds. The cheese curds, a little squeak and lightly battered. Everything came out fresh and satisfying, making it an easy spot to recommend for a laid-back vibe with great food. Service was great as well as we were in a bit of a rush towards the end to make it to the Avs game.

In town for the Packers game and can say first Packers bar we have visited while traveling we have had very unfriendly service. Doorman not great. FYI it’s 21 and up, which is fine, just be cool about it.

My friends and I come every Friday for trivia and $5 mini pitchers. It has the unique charm of a midwest neighborhood bar which is a welcome change from the corporate bar madness that is taking over the Ballpark neighborhood. It's also only a half block from Coors Field home plate so it's a great place to chug a beer and snarf a hot dog before going to Rockies games.
