For the price, this place is a hidden gem. The tacos are great for the price. Inflation hit this place but the prices are still so low.
We liked the tacos and the combos. Enchiladas were also great for the price.

Taco Bell is better tbh. The salsa is mixed with water and cornstarch so the color and taste are very strange. The beef in the tacos and enchiladas were very bad. Someone said it was like dog food and they are right. I was immediately sick after eating. I don't get how this place is 4.3 stars when it's not even authentic and the food sucks. Wasted 25 bucks here just to throw it up. Don't make the same mistake I did.The guy serving us was really nice tho. Too bad the food felt like I ordered an extra large school lunch. Also kinda hard to find the door and the place is really run down.
Parking: Lots of parking but the food is terrible so I wouldn't park

The food is dangerous to eat. Meat is dogfood quality and not even seasoned to cover it up. Chips are bad, round yellow chips. Salsa is Valentino's with water and cornstarch. Took my friend from Texas here because he loves bad Mexican food, even he hated it. Avoid this place at all costs! I don't know how they're still in business with all the other good food on Federal. The kicker was the cost--we still ended up paying as much as we would across the street for real food. 1/10 would not recommend as we all felt sick from eating here.

So bad, it's good. I say that with love. This place is like I imagine taco bell was in 1977 except while taco bell evolved to be all flashy and "live mas", this spot was frozen in time remaining true to the early days of tex mex. Its unique, it hits a spot deep down. It's like the "Bio Dome" of restaurants. Bad acting and writing but I'll be damned if it doesn't hit the spot. Also great service and value. 5 stars

I am a 3rd generation customer and my children are 4th generation, my grandson is now our 5th generation to dine at this small, but AMAZING family restaurant. We love this place and the owner is always on hand to ensure great service. I hope this location remains open for generations more to come! The #4, beef and bean burrada and the taco burgers are my #1 items of choice!??
