Ordered a Bacon breakfast burrito, but was given a mashed potato burrito with cheese and hints of bacon. Worst burrito in my lifetime of ordering burritos. Won't be ever going back to this Taco Star because multiple bad burritos before, but this one takes the trophy of bad.

Recent experiences at Taco Star suggest a decline in quality. Specifically, recent orders have been unsatisfactory. For example, breakfast burritos have been observed to contain an excessive amount of potatoes with minimal meat. Furthermore, a recent Chile Relleno order was served cold, with soggy breading and unmelted cheese. These issues are concerning, given Taco Star previous reputation.

I recently went for flautas because I had them at the taco star up North. Not only were these no where near the portion size but they weren't good. Never again, but what can you expect for $8

Order chips with cheese pico on side. Got cold chips and cheese and pico just piled all over it. Got soggy beef tacos. Order a cherry it was so hard couldn't even bite into it!! So disappointed! Yuck!

Usually a taco star fan but this location is horrible, food is lazily thrown together and employees are rude, not worth the time it takes to wait.

I'm not an expert. I don't know what makes anything the best. I know I like Taco Star off Peoria because the staff is pleasant, the food tastes good, satisfies my hunger and portions are huge. I've had the chorizo burrito and carne asada burrito and chips several times. My wife had the supreme veg burrito each under twelve bucks and always enough for two meals (three in my wife's case - she eats like a bird). Good food at a great price!

This is not a sit down restaurant, it's a drive through. Open 24 hours. We usually go with the beef tacos, carniasata fries and nachos & carniasata burrito. I'm sure everything on the menu is delicious.

This place can never get our order right!! The only reason we still order from here is they're one of the few places open 24hrs a day so they're open when my husband gets off from work. Our last 6 orders have been wrong!! And, when we try to call to complain, no one ever answers the phone! We've tried calling during the day & night shift but no one ever answers!! I'm assuming they don't answer because they don't care about the customers. I've heard the same complaints from my neighbors....wrong orders, over charged, no one answers the phone, they won't fix messed up orders & more!! If you go here try ordering what you don't want & maybe you'll actually get what you do want!! But you are better off just going somewhere else!!
I got some carne asada fries and the fries were all saggy and look like they dipped them In oil and they put a bunch of meat on top to cover the saggy fries , I’m very disappointed just make the food fresh always !! You can see a bunch of oil in the bottom
