Normally I like this place, but I got a chicken burrito recently and it literally had a bone the size of my fist in it. I was very lucky it was on the other side of where I bit into. If I didn't notice I might have lost a tooth. It was honestly disgusting. I understand mistakes pulling apart chicken, but this was repulsive. Sorry to say I'm never going back.
The best better then the one on Havana

Came here in the morning for a breakfast burrito and saw the cook not wearing any gloves when making the food. The same cook who also handled my debit card to make the purchase also you got it right, was touching and making the burrito with his bare hands. No sense of food safety nor the need to practice hygiene while cooking seems to be tolerated at Taco Star on Hampden.
Will not be returning.

Taco Star is a very good taco place. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good. Portion sizes are large. If you like Mexican food it is more like what just found in Mexico proper, this is a good place to stop. Service to the drive-thru can be a little bit slow but is fairly reasonable considering the style of restaurant. I will go back.
