Taco Star is a very good taco place. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good. Portion sizes are large. If you like Mexican food it is more like what just found in Mexico proper, this is a good place to stop. Service to the drive-thru can be a little bit slow but is fairly reasonable considering the style of restaurant. I will go back.
I've tried a couple different burritos, one with meat and one without. This is a great compromise for a quick stop for a vegetarian and an omnivore. The food is very good and employees are polite and efficient. Atmosphere is standard fast food seating, but the service and food are a cut above!
Went to the one on Hampden to get a couple of breakfast burritos today. Food was excellent (and big). Service was great (they tolerate my bad spanish). And while it takes a few minutes to get your food, it is all fresh made to order.
