Nice folks, good vibe, good food. Don’t understand the reviewers who suggest the tacos are small, they are a fair bit larger than street tacos and even bigger if you get the homemade flour tortilla. The fried chicken was especially fantastic. Good vegan options also.

Biggest thing - TORTILLAS ARE HOMEMADE! And they are so freaking good, if I lived here I'd buy a dozen to eat at home.
First time was for dinner: Michelada was so good and just the right amount of pepper, the shrimp taco was the best I've ever had, the birria is delicious too and I know that's generally popular now, the queso and chips also very tasty.
Second time was for breakfast. I got the rancheros breakfast tacos and buttermilk chicken with chorizo gravy ? sooo yummy!!

My wife and I were visiting Denver and wanted a good breakfast place. We came upon Taco Uprising in our searches and are so glad we did. The food and coffee were absolutely delicious and unique. Flavors were fresh with everything made in house, including the tortillas. Prices were very reasonable as well. We were hosted by Matias who made our experience fantastic. He even gave us great recommendations during our stay in Denver. We enjoyed our breakfast so much we returned the next day for seconds. We really appreciated the conversations and delicious meals. We highly recommend everyone give this place a try! We can’t wait to come back and we wish Taco Uprising the success it deserves!

10/2/24 If you’re confused then maybe I should clarify. According to this site you are open only 47 hours per week total. You have a competitor on Larimer open 77 hours per week and another competitor on Marion open 87 hours per week. The delicious food at TU is A+. Your hours at TU are much shorter than your nearby competition. That’s all.

First time at Taco Uprising. The drink presentation was beautiful and delicious! We ordered the Green Mile and spicy Bloody Mary. The food was rich in flavor and so fresh. We highly recommend the queso and guacamole for an appetizer and birria taco. The fresh coffee was also a huge plus. While we didn’t catch the bartenders name he was quite personable and super friendly. Check out this place, you won’t be disappointed!
I may only dine here one or twice a year, but I always return for more!
