Everything is SO good and the staff is super friendly. This time I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Huge and tasty. Horchata is the best too

The kind server helped ensure I could find the vegetarian items, and suggested the veggie green chili to top my Chili Relleno. Spicy, crispy and delicious!

Amazing experience all around the food is just amazing. Been all over Mexico and its as good as any of the restaurants you'll find. Very authentic and not just mexican food but Guatemalan as well! Will recommend and come back at least once a week. 😋

This place really impressed me! Ta Contento serves amazing Mexican & Guatemalan food, and it’s now one of my go-to taco spots.

I had the Shuko de Salchicha, quesabirrias with consomé, fried plantains, and a mangonada. The quesabirria was the standout — rich, cheesy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.

Definitely worth a visit — you won’t regret it!

This is a true hole-in-the-wall two-year-old Mexican restaurant with delicious food and cocktails.

If I could give more stars, I would. Tonight I happened to be in the mood for quesabirria so I scoured Google until I stumbled upon this incredible establishment. Do yourself a favor and go here. Linda, an absolute gem of a woman, was our server and it’s a smaller restaurant so she seemed to be taking on all of the front of house responsibilities and she provided one of the most pleasant dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time. Don’t even get me started on the kitchen. COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF! We added the Guatemalan chorizo (MADE IN HOUSE BY THE WAY) to our queso. I would eat this by myself with a spoon like a tub of ice cream. It was that good. I of course got the quesabirria and the rest of the table got basic beef tacos and carne adobada. The salsa and other complimentary sauces were so good, I have to assume they all were also made in house. The Salsa de Chile de arbol was my favorite. Especially with the chorizo queso! We didn’t even realize that it was happy hour While we were there so two of us got margaritas and one got a beer. They have a very good happy hour! Very good prices for the quality of food that we received. This is our first time here and we really enjoyed everything about this experience so we will be back to try more of this amazing menu! I will try to save room for dessert next time!

If I could write a worse review, I would. I ordered takeout and put in the specialty section, NO MEAT. They called me to confirm that no meat should be added to my order. My order arrived full of meat. This is a no and I will tell every single person who asks me that it is a hard no. The beans, the sauce, the main entree, full of pork. I’ve never eaten meat since I was little. It taste and smells disgusting to me. When I say no meat, I mean no meat.

This place has incredible food. It’s off the Main Street but very worth the excursion. Enchiladas and Burrito were both great. The free salsa was amazing and the right amount of spicy
