Been here twice for private events in the second floor space and both times it was spectacular - the food, drinks, service, atmosphere - all of it was done really well. I like that they had a variety of seating options from cozy couches to stools by a fireplace as well as cocktail tables to mingle.
This is my fourth Carlos Sandoval restaurant (Raya, Maya, and ToroToro) but probably the least ambitious of the bunch.
Great atmosphere, ambiance and all that but no revelations with the food. It was rather mild, and although I get it is in Denver, there perhaps could have been a bit more umph to it all.
Overall, glad I went, as it is another check on list, but nothing outstanding, which is what I have come to expect from his other restaurants...

Tamayo’s Happy Hour tacos and margaritas really hit the spot. The service and atmosphere were wonderful. I always appreciate establishments that can accommodate my celiac issues with skill.
