I hate when I go to a fancier dinner, whether special occasion or not, and something lacks. I expect better food, fantastic service, and pretty much a great overall experience. Tavernetta, without a doubt, delivered and surpassed on all fronts. We went there for my birthday dinner, as my go-to is Italian food. My wife booked me a reservation, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience there, definitely didn't regret our restaurant selection, and know that a return trip probably will happen. As far as points of contacts, Nick was our server, and was perfectly there for every need without being intrusive, and answered all questions about the menu with confidence and an awesome personality. Connor was our wine expert, and talked us through all options after we explained what we were looking for. Seth was the manager who greeted us later in the meal with a very personable table touch. Wife and I did the Tiberio red, and it was great. We did the carpaccio (add focaccia bread on the side per Nick's recommendation), and added the burrata also as a starter. The carpaccio was literally phenomenal, the burrata was no slouch, and both left us plenty of room for dinner while delighting our tastebuds. Whenever I think it will be incredible, I sometimes pick the boring lasagna choice, my personal favorite dish, but have found over the years that it is hard to be incredible and unique. I got it (after Nick vouched for it) and I was NOT disappointed. One of my favorite lasagnas of all-time. Wife got the gnocchi and it was also delicious. The place had the perfect atmosphere, with uplifting energy, but still classy and you felt like you were in your own world. They had an open kitchen with a whole other dining room in the back. The bar also had a cool vibe, and seemed great if you were just swinging by for drinks. Overall, this place was amazing. I highly recommend Tavernetta, and see you there...

Enjoyed a fabulous dinner celebrating husband's birthday. The service is what you expect from a high end restaurant from the minute you walk in the door until you leave. The food - extraordinary! Flavors that they bring together are unique and exquisite. The cocktails are phenomenal (get the white Negroni) and the dessert so special. The team provides white glove service and so lucky to have this Michelin restaurant in town. Beautiful restaurant too with open kitchen in the middle. Easy to park by Union station. Cannot wait to go again.

This was the perfect place to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. Everyone who greeted us wished her a happy birthday and her menu even had it printed on there, which was a special touch. My wife and I went to tavernetta on a date night. It was difficult to carry on a conversation. The acoustics were really bad. We heard all the neighboring tables but couldn't hear each other. Food was really good. Service was good. Ambiance, not so much. Won't go back until they add sound dampening

Exceptional hospitality by the staff. Went for a birthday dinner and they generously gave us some complimentary sparkling champagne on the house. Also provided a candle for the dessert we ordered at the end. Staff was super friendly and attentive, never had an empty wine glass.
We had a wonderful time here, the staff was very attentive and genuine. Gifts were sent to our table, and everything was timed perfectly. Special thanks to Nicholas and Miranda for making our night so memorable.

We had to wait for table in entry way (no area in bar to get a drink). Espresso martini had a liqueur that made it undrinkable. Wine list was expansive and great (all Italian), but there was no offer to send the sommelier over to recommend the wines. Gentleman that brought our wine broke the cork as he opened it. The Carpaccio had a weird chipotle that did not pair well with the meat, and it was warm. Perhaps it sat under a food lamp, but it was not good. Pasta w waygu short rib lacked flavor. The squash tortellini was too al dente.

As always, started with the fantastic carpaccio and burrata, followed by the Mista salad, which has the perfect amount of dressing. The bread is sooooo good. I had the bolognese pasta with short rib. So delicious. My husband had the pork belly and was a bit disappointed as I had out-ordered him. Our friends had the truffle pasta special. They said it wasn't too special. Nonetheless, we will go back again and again.

We had been wanting to try Tavernetta for a very long time. We finally went last night to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was very attentive. The food was outstanding. We had the Burrata and focaccia as well as the octopus to start. I had the tagliatelle with lobster and my husband had the rigatoni with lamb ragu. We finished with the tiramisu. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We can't wait to go back.
