This place is a gem! Inside a hotel that used to be a school. Super design and acoustics. Loved the flooring and the ceiling for noise absorption and aesthetics. The food and drink is were all delicious! We had cocktails, Cesar salad, bass, and risotto. We will come back and try dessert next time. Great location if you have a show to catch in the theater district or a convention to attend... Charming place that has delicious food!
A little hard to find, inside The Slate Hotel, which we didn't realize. Very attentive service when we arrived early, at 6pm. Fun cocktails & mocktails, limited but tasty menu. Really liked the miso glazed striped bass. Service kind of fell apart when they got busy, and trivia night made it a bit loud. Our waiter got our dessert order wrong (we wanted the carrot cheesecake, got the apple crumble) but we ate it anyway, and enjoyed it. We'd give it another try especially if going to a show at The Bellco Theatre.
Great little quiet hotel restaurant. Great vibe. Simple menu with something for everyone. Clean with tasteful decor. Fast friendly service. Delicious food, good sized portions.
Our server was great. Super friendly and went out of his way to ensure our order was completed quickly so we could make our show time at the theater.
We had a work event take plate at the Slate hotel and we were treated to a wonderful lunch at the Teacher’s Lounge. The ambience is great, and it was perfectly quiet to hold conversations, even when it is at the hotel lobby.
We tried their appetizers, including the goat cheese ball, the elote fries, the farmers market hummus and bison meatloaf bites. They were all very tasty and varied.
For the mains, each of us chose a salad base to which we added protein toppings we order for the table. The burrata and basil salad tasted great with both the seared salmon and the flatiron steak, which was my favorite.
For dessert, we tried the tempura PB&J - which I’ll confess I wasn’t too interested in, until I bit into it. The flavors were a hit, plus the crunch in the tempura and the sweetness in the marshmallow went perfect together. Very happy with our choices.

Incredible food, service, and vibes. Think a fancy college with more elegant hipster aesthetics. A wonderful bar and pretty accompanying hotel!

Delicious food! Waiter was super friendly when he was at my table. Problem was that he kept neglecting me toward the end and I waited and waited for him to bring me the dessert menu that he promised but forgot to bring me (he brought my check instead). I asked again for the dessert menu and waited some more. He was busy waiting on the nearby party of 9 and didn't bother to check on me. So I finally left.
I highly recommend this restaurant. Our hotel did not have the healthy choices we were looking for at breakfast. The overnight oats and yogurt with granola were excellent and elevated. The espresso drinks were better then the trendy coffee shop we tried the day before. All the staff were attentive and personable. Especially Tyler who gave us a great recommendation for a brewery and taco shop in a nearby great neighborhood. It's located in an old school and the transformation is unique and creative.

Love the repurposed school look. Omelette was decent but the breakfast potatoes were cold. Got a side of best French fries I've had this year! My dining partner got the burger and they mentioned it was good!
Nice food in the bottom of the Slate Hotel. It's in a quieter area by the back of the convention center. With lots of street parking and a few lots.

Disappointed by the service, but food was solid.
I stopped by Teachers’ Lounge Food + Drink while visiting from out of town. The food itself was pretty good—no complaints there. Unfortunately, the service made me feel really uncomfortable. My server, Ben, didn’t check on me at all after I received my meal, and when I asked for a cranberry juice, it was brought out in a dirty cup. I politely asked for a cleaner one, but that interaction made me feel like I was being difficult just for asking.
He seemed more attentive to other tables, avoided eye contact, and overall didn’t make me feel welcomed. I understand people have off days, so this isn’t meant to attack him personally—I just felt like I was doing something wrong simply for being there, and it affected my whole experience.
Again, the food was good, but the energy and service really threw it off for me.

This was a nice location and definitely unique when we came for an education conference. The food was okay; very overpriced for what you get. Some dishes were HUGE while others were tiny. Service was extremely rushed but kind.

The food was good, but the pricing on google isn’t right. A salad and a soda cost me $30.

The food was incredibly mediocre. The Caesar salad was inedible. Breakfast potatoes undercooked and zero flavor.
The food exceeded expectations. I loved my spritz with brunch too! The ladies loved their lattes as well saying it was the best coffee they've had in Denver so far. Will be back :)
