Amazing sandwich place! We went twice on our trip and the staff were so kind and in great moods. I had the turkey sandwich and my husband had the patty melt. The turkey sandwich was so so good, we both got it the second time. The bread is very fresh and soft and I loved the pepper spread. Wish I could go there all the time!

We ordered a muffuletta and chicken pesto sandwiches along with a chickpea and broccoli salad. There was a snafu with the online order (not Tessa’s fault), but they handled it marvelously. Onto the food, everything was made from scratch, generously portioned, and tasted great. Very clean behind the counter.
The brisket dipper was perfection. Great bread, tender brisket, flavorful broth. Half was plenty for a meal.

One of my favorite spots for sandwiches in Denver. I’ve been here multiple times and tried several different sandwiches, it never disappoints. They do have other items besides sandwiches and I’m sure they’re also amazing but I just haven’t tried them YET. Highly recommend this place.
The chicken pesto sandwhich is very light and fresh with greens. Great bread. Alittle salt and lemon or balsamic for brightness would have made a 10/10.

Truly one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of eating at in an extremely long time!
I got the og Italian sandwich and was pleasantly surprised by how much food you get? Equpit with the most refreshing meat, cheese, and sauce combination a sandwich could ever have! All of that in between a great crunchy bread with a nice and soft interior.
My girlfriend got the brisket dipper and holy moly. The brisket was beautifully cooked and flavored to perfection combined with the perfectlyelted cheese in between. All of that complimented with the tastiest au jus dipping sauce that is so uniquely tessa delicatessen.
Overall. Highly recommend and added to one of the favorites in the Denver area!

I'm a born and raised east coaster do delis always hit close to home but this one had its own spin to it. Yes it offered the usual hits on the menu like a perfect chopped cheese with a sesame roll and The OG which has all of the classic Italian cold cut offerings you could ask for. What stood out even more was how friendly the fully female staffed (at least from what we noticed from the front of house/open kitchen in the front), a sign that pointed out where you could change your baby and in which bathroom (looking at you new parents out there this is a game changer!), massive freshly made ice cubes, marble tabletops and more. Some of these details really made this place stand out but they don't ever lose sight of what it means to make good quality deli sandwiches and sweet treats. Hard to find a fault with this place
